So I'm recovering from a spinal surgery, and my hair is suddenly dryer and thinner than it has ever been before, and shedding. I don't know if it's from the lifestyle change (I work outdoors usually) or stress or being in bed all the time.. but I'm actually freaking out, and don't know who to talk to about it. I love my hair and it is a big part of my self care and confidence. I was all over the place on the internet until I finally found these videos, and it's helping me hold it together. Thank you!!

Love, love, love you! You were born to teach. I feel educated. I feel informed. (I'm a teacher, I should know!) And it's so clear how much you care about helping others. I literally stumbled upon you yesterday and I am SO GLAD I watched your videos. I've been watching and reading so much literature on scalp care, but you blew their generic knowledge right out of the water. I was in the beginning stages of completely altering how I approached haircare, and I can't wait to really create healthy hair from the roots down, so to speak. I saw your JVN oil at Sephora 2 days ago among so many other hair serums and oils. But my INTUITION was so strongly pointing toward yours. You are my hair guru, right now! That's for sure. I definitely feel I've grown during this class already, lol! Last week's class inspired me to pay more attention to how my scalp was feeling and it turned out to get rather itchy from the shampoo I used so I've started washing with conditioner only! That feels good for now although I'll probably need to clarify with shampoo again in a little while. Also, if I can give you a production tip: I think the texts need more proofreading, as I spotted a few typos! (breath instead of breathe, and clairfy)

Hi Jonathan! Loved the 101 on scalp care and actually love (how you do) your stuff/work generally🤓 Now: I'm getting 50 soon, and for some years now I have issues with my scalp especially in fall and spring - probably because of the seasonal change here in Germany. After seeing your video(s) I think it's not dandruff but "just" dry scalp with tiny tiny flakes like salt. So, I'm thinking about getting the JVN prewash scalp oil. I watched the video on how to use it, but as I have quite short hair (3 to 5cm) I wonder how "much" to use... Don't want to waste the oil and don't want "oily" hair after washing (I wash twice a week). Thanks a lot for your advice🤗
