JW: Decline every promotion at work

I followed WT advice on higher ed until I was tired of being poor. Went to University in my thirties and got a degree much to the dismay of my JW freinds. Got a good job after schooling was completed and provided well for my family for another 25 years until I retired. You hit the nail on head once again Sven!

Thanks for this vlog its very true that you are put in a position to take part time work. I was once in this predicament and told my employer couldn't work on meetings days and yes i didnt get the job! I was blinded and controlled. I think they mess with all parts of your life. If i wasn't brainwashed i could of got the job. Oh well finally saw the light, never going back!

I listen to a podcast about PIMO brothers in Africa. Majority of them cannot leave the JW because of poverty. Very often their employer is a JW.

true. no work is no money. and unemployment is sky high so they keep their job, even if they are underpaid

I would love to see Javier’s Linkedin profile. Funny enough is that I have not a single JW in Philippines who didnt have a batchlor degree. Without one you wont even get a cashier job.

This makes me laugh, I knew a JW at work that stabbed people in the back to get a promotion. He also pursued higher education. Guess he wasnt being a good little jw😂
