JW Marriott Essex House New York hotel tour & fishing in Central Park?!

A tour of the JW Marriott Essex House Central Park South with some added bonus footage of my visit to Little Island! Little Island is a new public park where New Yorkers and visitors can experience nature, music, and art in one amazing urban oasis. Its adjacent to Hudson River Park and a five minute walk from Chelsea Market. I also caught the Broadway show Hadestown and you get a peek at the set from the second row. Can't wait to show you everything I got to see!

It is really nice. Great spot and beautiful lobby I just think they missed the mark in some items-mainly the closets and the artwork in the rooms. I’ve stayed here three different times tho because the pros outweigh the cons!

A lot of my friends in New York haven’t even been there! Crazy! It’s truly an amazing idea and stunning park. I loved it!

The set design for Hadestown looks incredible, how was the show overall?

It was good. The actors really seemed to enjoy themselves. They were all in and the voices are incredible. I think you have to be a fan of mythology tho to love it.

If you wanted bigger closet and bathroom settings get a larger suite. Those rooms go for $700-800 per night.

Of course that’s always an option but unless I get an upgrade my budget allows for the smaller room. You really didn’t think that closet was exceptionally small???

It wasn’t small for NY real estate. The JW wasn’t fitting your budget. Make videos from more affordable hotels: I suggest the Courtyard, W, or Sheraton in Time Square. This way you won’t appear to be a Debbie downer living beyond your financial means.
