I've always wanted to stay at the JW Marriott Las Vegas in Summerlin, so on my recent trip to Las Vegas, NV, I booked a one night stay at this resort hotel. We arrived in the evening hoping to enjoy the pool- and I forgot that standard practice in Las Vegas is to close the pool at night in hopes that you will visit the casino. (Rampart Casino is inside the property) Instead we toured Downtown Summerlin (Last Weeks vegas vlog video • Las Vegas | Summerlin ... ). The following morning we toured the gorgeous grounds of the JW Marriott Las Vegas property, walked the Zen Walk, and enjoyed the pool at the resort. I believe this hotel has one of the best pools in Las Vegas 2021! This is one of my favorite Las Vegas hotels located off the strip and one of the best hotels in Las Vegas.
Located just 13 miles from the Las Vegas Strip and just 5 miles from Las Vegas Red Rock Canyon. This is a great place to stay and relax after a day of hiking at Red Rock Canyon.

Great hotel tour! We stayed on the strip for our previous trips to Vegas. But I can really see the upside to staying at a nice resort miles away from the madness of the strip would be a much more relaxing trip. Being pretty close to Red Rock Canyon is a big plus too. Thanks for showing us around this resort!

I prefer the Summerlin resorts to the strip. Stayed at both the Marriott and Suncoast plus Red Rock Casino.

Great looking resort. The $35 resort fee would blow our whole budget, but at least there are perks offered with it. Sounds like everyone is having fun except the baby! 👶

Is the $20 resort credit per day of resort fees charged? So stay 3 days get $60 resort credit?

Thats a great question, I only stayed one night so I’m not sure. I just checked their website and they are currently running a promotion for $75 credit per night through March so this probably changes regularly.

I had a 2 queen deluxe room on one of the upper floors so we had a good view. I think we received a small upgrade for being a good member. I do show the room I think its near the beginning
