The hotel looks beautiful BUT Venice is so busy! Boat travel to and from the island every time you want to do something would be a negative for me.

It actually was not that inconvenient. It was actually something we looked forward to. They give you the time schedule so if you plan it right there is very little waiting.

Due to the high price point I recommend redeeming your Marriott Points here. It is a great value as you usually can always get at least a penny a point in value.

I agree the presentation seems fast maybe because you want to control the overall time. I also like to see more about hotel amenities, and foods. In addition, can you also mention which property has business lounge and how good the foods in the lounge.

@@gogotravelwithjosh if lounge is available please show in video as I feel lounge is a bonus point for me to decide if the hotel is worth to stay when lounge food is really good. It is also why I don’t like Ritz as their club lounge is not complementary and super expensive

If properly has lounge, I have always included a video of it. Many properties do not though and therefore they offer breakfast in restaurant which I show. I’ve only been to 4 club lounges out of the 15 JW Marriott hotels I’ve been to. As many do not have them or they were closed during covid.

Yes! St. Regis Venice review will be out soon! Gritti Palace hotel is way too dated for me, I couldn’t stay there. I did walk through lobby and soooo dated.

@@gogotravelwithjosh thanks for letting us know about Gritti. From Bonvoy site, pictures of Gritti seems very fancy and expensive. Maybe it is misleading. So jealous of you visiting all the hot hotels from my list that I can’t experience myself yet 😆

Absolutely, I definitely prefer new and modern. I just couldn’t stay at Gritti, some people who don’t mind old and history would like it. Not for me. JW and St. Regis there are both amazing. Hopefully you’ll have a chance to visit many of the properties on your list! What is the number one Marriott property you want to visit?

@@gogotravelwithjosh currently I want to visit Ritz Al Wadi Desert in Dubai. I like to experience the swimming pool in desert 😆

That one does look really nice, I would highly suggest also staying at Luxury Collection Al Maha also in Dubai desert. It has 4.8 rating which is extremely hard to get compared to 4.4 at that Ritz. And it also has pools in the desert. Definitely use points for those nights as rates are really high all year long at those properties!
