Man, when I studyed the subject of Jesus being God I was amazed at how many refrences their actually are. I mean the Bible is just Loaded full up them (old and new testament). Revelations is one of my favorite though because in Revelations BOTH the LORD and Jesus spoke for themselves yet they both said the same thing which is that they both claim to be the Alpha and Omega / the First & the last. How anyone can read the entire Book of John, in context, without any preconceived bias, and not see Jesus as God is unfathomable. You have to ignore verse after verse and/or mistranslate the original text as some cults have done. No finite man has seen the fullness of the infinite, holy God. We see in John, as in other books of the bible, that Jesus was no mere man but God in the flesh and part of the Godhead. He is in the bosom of the Father and, as we see in John 14:9: Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. J.W. has to mistranslate the word "theos" in the first verse of John to make Jesus, the word, "a god", instead of God. When J.W. devalues Jesus the organization manifests it's lack of truth. Trying to work their way to salvation, letting children die for lack of blood they reduce themselves to slowly doing the "pioneer plot". In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit I pray that you someday know the full love of the God who so loved you he would die for you.

I love listening to these calls. I was in church all my life, gave my life to the Lord at 25, and am now 73. My husband is a Biblical preacher, and also a true, real believer. But I've never been taught so very thoroughly. I am loving this. The questions you answer were the very ones I asked before I could truly believe. I asked my pastor, then, if Jesus every said, "I am God." And he immediately showed me John 8:58. All my life I knew that one, but at that moment it came to life for me. Jesus used the forbidden tetragrammaton for Himself! And they knew what He was saying and tried to stone Him. But there is so much depth here.

In Philippians 2:5-6, point to Jesus as God , especially Philippians 2:5-8 which states where Jesus is in heaven equal to God and in the verse you quoted John 20:17, He is returning to His position as being equal to God not declaring He is not God. I believe my staement will make sense, if Jesus Christ Himself is NOT GOD, even IF HE is a PERFECT Offering (being Sinless), a One Man can ONLY Save Another Man and No More. The requirement in the Old Testament is a certain animal but enough only to take away the SIN of ONE man. to add to this in the book of revelation John bowed down to an angel and the angel stopped John and said that you must only worship God and you can find multiple places where people worship Jesus and Jesus doesn't stop them. I'm also pretty certain that the old testament God says that he himself will be the redeemer and he will be the messiah though I can't remember were I got that from I think it's from Isaiah or Jerimiah. Psalm 24 seems clearly about Jesus and it calls him the King of Glory and the Lord of Hosts and the Lord of Hosts I'm fairly certain is used exclusively for God. Also the end of the book of 1 John outright calls Jesus God 1 John 20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the incarnation of God. He bridges the gap between the physical world and the spiritual, the gap between Man and God. We cannot see God in all his glory so God had to find a way where we can see God through our physical eyes meaning if God created the earth and there are laws of the earth he needs to find a way to come into earth, the physical realm and since He is omnipotent, he can do ANYTHING, he came into the flesh. That’s why in the FLESH he is like us, he thirsted, he got hungry, he felt pain, he suffered and died and like us he also worships God if anything as an example on how to do so perfectly. What unitarians don’t get is how the Trinity works. They misunderstand it. Three PERSONS one essence. God the Son is NOT God the Father. So when Jesus the Son is worshipping the Father, he is not worshiping himself. Just as the Father worships the Son. The Father glorifies no one yet the Son tells him Father, now GLORIFY ME. If God is uncreated and all his traits are eternal because he is eternal that would include his love. When they say God is love. That’s what He is. But love is given and received. That means if there was a time before he created anything and he was just existing he wasn’t loving because he had not created anything. So in order for him to love He has to create something to love. But that doesn’t work because that means his love is not eternal and he is dependent on his creation. God is not dependent on ANYTHING. That means there has to have been a person that has ALWAYS existed with the Father. The Father AND The Son have always existed, neither of them created, both eternally loving each other and that love reciprocated to each other is the HOLY SPIRIT who is also eternal.

So God has truly given Jesus all power over heaven and earth, just as pharaoh gave Joseph all power over Egypt and its provinces. That still does not make Joseph the Pharaoh of Egypt, nor does it make Jesus the most high God of heaven. The father remains the most high God of heaven, and Jesus continues to sit at his right hand as acting-od over heaven and earth!

There is no lowercase and uppercase in Hebrew, but there is in English. And that lowercase and uppercase has been used to support the Trinity when in fact, there is no coequal Trinity as Jesus plainly taught at John 14:28! No one has seen God at any time, they have seen God's reflection in Jesus. Jesus is the reflection in the mirror of God. If you smash the mirror, which God did, you smash Jesus. But God the Father continues. The law of agency certainly does apply here because when the three angels visited Sarah and Abraham, Sarah said God has visited his , Sarah said God has visited , Sarah said; "God has visited his people", but we know this was angels representing God because two of them went on to Sodom to warn Lot and his family to get out of the city and save their lives! God is showing us the relationship between himself and his son. His son is the exact image of him, made in his image by God himself just as Adam was also made in God's image. Adam did not remain in God's image, Jesus did, even to a painful death on the cross! God CALLS whomever he wants to CALL God by the title God. He CALLED Moses a God at Exodus 4:16 and Exodus 7:1. He CALLS Satan the God who blinds the minds of the unbelievers at 2nd Corinthians 4:4. God makes that determination for his own personal reasons. God CALLED Moses a god because he gave Moses power and authority over both Egypt and Israel. God CALLED Satan a God because Satan was given power over the whole earth. The God of Israel cannot be seen, remember? You cannot see God and live. If they saw the God of Israel, they saw an agent, a representative, and exact image of God! They saw Jesus. That still does not make Jesus the only true and most high God! It makes Jesus exactly what Jesus said he was at John 17:1-3, the one sent by the only true God!

There is no place in scripture where God gives any other spiritual being or human being the position of authority over heaven and earth. Only Jesus has been given this position, just as only Joseph had been given that position over Egypt. Jesus, as the Word of God, is the agent by which God created all other things as he spoke. God made that spirit known as TheWordofGod into flesh known as Jesus. God required that Jesus died in order to redeem mankind from sin and death. The fact that Jesus went through with that painful death is proof to God that Jesus is completely loyal to him! For that reason God gave Jesus the name above every name! If God called Moses a god, Even though Moses was not completely loyal to God, because at the end, Moses failed to obey God and was not allowed to enter into the Promised Land as a result, then how much more so Jesus who was completely loyal through a painful death on the cross??? We humans are not the ones who decide who is worthy of veneration. God himself decides who's worthy, therefore God himself named certain individuals by the title 'gods' as Psalm 82 proves! God even called Satan by the title God at 2nd Corinthians 4:4. I've presented these scriptures to you repeatedly Sam and you ignore them all! Your God, Jesus, calls his Father the only true God at John 17 one through three. The Bible cannot contradict itself, and the scripture cannot be broken. So you cannot ignore these scriptures in favor of all those which you have presented as proof that Jesus himself is God along with, or in place of his Father. Explain to me why 1st Corinthians 15:23 through 28 says that the father puts all authority under his son's feet, but in the end the FATHER is all things to all people? Why doesn't it say the son is all things to all people? The simple fact of the matter is, God the Father has glorified the son so that pagans who were used to worshiping a god they could see, could have the perfect reflection of God in his son. Then once all pagans were gathered to Jesus under Christianity, then it would be made clear that the FATHER is the only true God, all things to all people. This is that fulfillment!

The biblical information from Hebrews: 1.5 tells us that Jesus Christ is not eternal in the past, He has a day in which he was born by God. I quote: For to which of the angels did He ever say "You are My Son; today I have begotten You?". So Christ the Son of God, who is God from God born and not made, has a day when God gave birth to Him. In conclusion, God gives birth, and Christ as the Son of God was born in one day, today says the Word of God from the Bible, this means that God the Son has a beginning, it is not eternal in the past, but His eternity begins today and will be for eternity. So Jesus Christ is not an angel, he is not a creation, but he is the Son of God, God from God born and not made, like the angels from lightning or thunder, says the biblical information. The question that arises in this situation is the following God gives birth, and if he gives birth, how did he become pregnant and with whom, and how was the birth, normal or by caesarean section?!? Please answer me is it important?
