Nice seats, looks like a great time thanks for uploading. Crazy how fast the serves are, all the close ones look in

Johnson was actually a dangerous opponent in this match. He was hitting some really hard strokes to try and overpower Federer. The thing about Federer is that he can hold his own against virtually every kind of player and playing style out there, and this ability has reached another level since he got comfortable with the new racket this year. The differences between the top players is much smaller in absolute terms than it is in relative terms. More often than not, it's the guy who's got the stronger mind that day who wins. Djokovic is easily the most extreme example of what can happen when your mind goes out of the contest. Last year at the Australian Open, he was "Djokovic, destroyer of worlds, ruler of the tennis world". By the end of the year in the ATP final against Murray he had become, "Djokovic, playing but no intention of winning". The mental strength of the players is palpable, you can almost touch it. Federer has been always been strong even after some painful losses, although every now and then he gets into a dip and suffers an upset. Apart from peak Nadal on clay, much of the time he ends up losing more than his opponents winning.

Great angle and quality. You can really feel how aggressively Federer plays. Much better than TV. Get yourself a ticket to French Open please.

Fed’s serve at 6:47 is downright filthy. How in the hell does he get the ball to do that? I’d rather face a 140mph serve down the middle than that thing.

you can see the influence of Federer on Johnson's game, which is really cool and not very common.

Can't decide whether I love Fraud's neo-Fraud backhand better or the inside out fraud-forehand. Both are so perfect to watch.

Steve Johnson. Mediocre name for a mediocre player.
@Malraux-UK7 жыл бұрын
I don't think he's mediocre, at all. I've seen him play live. In the video he's two points away from taking a set off the greatest player the game has had and he took him to tie-break, as well.

#metoo. No person has the right to call a professional tennisplayer mediocre in his expertise.

Maybe an average sounding name. But someone ranked as high as 20 in the world is not mediocre. Shoot- anyone in the top 1000 is not mediocre. Not everyone can be number 1
