Fugue is being slept on like Ruan Mei early on. She can elevate ALL units. A better version of the best path the MC has taken at present. What is there to lose? Personally, this comment isn’t to persuade anyone to pull. You get the waifu you want. I’m just saying that there isn’t a reason NOT to pull her in term of meta. I got Acheron and Jing Yuan. Another Lightning DPS will not help me whatsoever. My eruditions also got their best in slot teams already. I’m not pulling for Algaea or THE Herta. The desire to save for them will be what helps you get what you want.

I wouldn't really compare Fugue and Ruan Mei here. People who slept on her for whatever reason are just plain fucking stupid, poor (in-game) or simply missed her, as she was the first full team buffer with multiple buffs happening at once, fitting in almost every single team no problem, even our forgotten DoT team. Fugue is the new super break enabler, meaning her best team and probably most played one, is going to be based around super break. Just in terms of value alone, Ruan Mei still takes the cake here imo, especially since she would replace HMC and people who don't change them into Remembrance still have "budget" Fugue available. (no hate or anything, just my 2 cents about the comparison)

Fugue is a must pull because she fundamentally changes the flow of combat by being able to double break enemy units, having permanent application of super break, delaying enemy timelines, and giving a DPS rainbow toughness breaking while also doing def down *cries in Silver Wolf* Xueyi + Fugue's rainbow toughness reduction is gonna go fucking absolutely nutty. Super break won't fall off any time soon... the shit I have seen people do to make E6 Arlan work because all you need to do is stack SPD and tank stats for mainstats and all Break Effect... She's a unique nihility unit that enables break centric teams but also allows you to go in with a team thats out of element and still manage to break bars and lower defense. I think her kit is very good and universal in a lot of teams. She's just better when you can really delve in on the break.

My thing is this: It's not that I don't WANT to pull for Fugue. It's moreso I CAN'T. I pulled Sunday and trying him out on other teams, he's definitely an improvement for my account. However, I've been waiting for Fugue for a very long time and I fear I won't have enough pulls to even get her. I no longer have guaranteed (Used on Sunday), so if I were to lose the 50/50, I'd be fine with Himeko E1, E2 Welt (IT'S BEEN AGES!!), or a E5 Bronya. I'd crash out if I get an E4 Bailu or an E1 Geppie. Edit: I'd also like to point out that I was a guy that didn't care for Sunday until trying out his kit.

Fugue may not be the top of the top but she have a complete kit for break which fix and enable many units Xueyi can now break anything and get stack faster with exo toughness Himeko is getting even stronger she's arguably the one who benefits the most of Fugue Rappa get a lot stronger too and less dependant of the number of enemies to get stacks Boothill can now get his stacks faster and be less dependant of his ultimate to break May even be able to create an Acheron superbreak.. Fugue feels "future proof" in a way that she does everything you need from a superbreak enabler.. and well it's sure new MC will be broken, even if he wasn't he can't stay harmony forever so he will needs a replacement at some points As for Firefly it's true she may progressively fall off due to her "simplicity" while other breakers can only go up, she have no other synergy than breaking, she already break everything regardless of elements, Fugue doesn't really add anything to her unlike other units

Honestly, if you dont plan on geting aglaea, then just get Big herta and use you HMC for break, but know that you wont be able to use RMC and therefore summon meta (at least withought a copium team) until you either get sunday or fugue. I dont know if you look at leaks so i will not spoil much but big Herta is insanely good.

If you are truely F2P so NO Montly Express, NO battle Pass, then save for Herta she is also made for F2P and her damage buff recently confirms it, F2P players lack damage. not so much utility. if you are Montly Express Battle Pass payer, then with the Free Jade in 3.0 you will get Herta definetly if you play every day. the extra bonus is garantee to pull Herta. But Fugue and Herta are made for F2P or like Gacha Smack says for casuals. who want to grow, Fugue is made for people who pulled old characters where the DPS didn't had that toughness reduction, Himeko Welt DHIL etc. to remain functioning in future. if you want Algaea cause you pulled Sunday, then you would skip on Fugue and Herta or have to pull out the wallet. one of the Reason I told people skip Sunday, Bronya functions well enough if you pulled her in the free ticket, you could have skipped Sunday.

I think it’s original toughness damage not break efficiency for boothill talent. This is better because the efficiency increases from Ruan Mei or Fugue multiply the whole thing instead of adding to it, resulting in 500% the amount of toughness compared to without stacks. (100% original toughness +150% from stacks) * (1 efficiency base + 0.5 ruan mei + 0.5 fugue E1)

I'm sure unconditional, every DPS that has ever or will ever exist, being able to do 50% toughness reduction on every skill, basic, ult, or FUA they do, is completely useless, and Fugue is just a Harmony MC replacement for Super Break that barely keeps up. I'm also sure her ability to grant debuff application to all actions taken by other units will definitely never be utilized with characters that love debuff applications. And I'm also 100% certain her ability to do this on her entire team at E6 with 50% break efficiency and 20% Break Damage is just a "for fun" ability. Or maybe Fugue is actually really broken. Maybe. Possibly.

the other option I think plays a huge roll (at least for ftp players) is that summoner mc is coming... If you skip Fugue for Aglaea, you still have harmony MC for breaks. OR If you get Fugue and skip Aglaea, you will have summoner MC for Sunday to buff. As long as you get either Fugue or Aglaea you can still have 2 teams alive and kicking and I like being able to have that option.

Fugue is a skip for me because Sunday E0S1 drained me of all my funds and I'm personally saving for Anaxa and Phainon. My only break unit right now is Firefly as well, although I might want to pick up Boothill on his rerun, depending on when it is. Idk if I would get Fugue on her rerun. I think if I were to get her, other than Firefly and potentially Boothill, I'd probably use her with Himeko. Don't have Lingsha and as fun as she looks, she's not a character I really want to invest in.

If I lose 50/50, save for Herta bc I want her + her lc If I get Fugue I will pull for Boothill too because yeehaw If I don't, I will focus on remembrance characters (I'm not pulling for Sunday tho because I don't like his new design idk what imma do about that but whatever!)

That is the way to go for as NEW F2P player, you still don't have a terrific team. and sadly you need a top DPSER so Herta is not a skip for you. if you get Fugue congrats. Then you will pull Herta late on 3.0 and her LC. if you don't get Fugue, then you got garantee Herta and her LC.

We literally have already had AS bosses with locked toughness that unlock when you kill minions. This will almost certainly be the exact same. No idea why people are up in arms about it. It would make absolutely zero sense for hoyo to lock break characters out of the break mode.

@@kingsimba9513 there is also the consideration that toughness locking while obviously completely stopping superbreak, also makes basically everyone a lot weaker in general as well. Toughness/element weakness is just too central to HSR's combat system to lock everything down in order to neuter break units. Honestly I don't see break going anywhere. I wouldn't even be surprised if we see a new break DPS in 3.X at some point since there is an argument to be made that Fugue's kit does not fully mesh with any one of the premier break units entirely.

I don't know still need to test it once Fugue hits live. but welt is functioning cause Fugue is SP regainer, Welt isn't good enough DPS to be a main DPS. so Fugue SP positive and giving Foxian Prayer to Welt who can then spam his Skill 2/3 turns, means you can have more action delay without sacrificing Acheron Skill DPS. but this is in theorie. I still need to test the delay in Reality, is it strong enough to perma delay like Ruan Mei (who together with Fugue shuts down enemies who are toughness broken)

Lingsha who made almost every youtuber Q.Q telling people to skip, she is just a 5 star Gallagher. so much that they are annoyed for giving skip Lingsha advice. I think the only problem with Fugue is that people are directly comparing her against Sunday, who is an absolutely disgusting creature that's a powercrept combination of Bronya, Sparkle, and Tingyun all crammed into one while also being THE Remembrance Support character guaranteeing him to be meta relevant, if not meta defining, for the next year or more to come. Meanwhile Fugue's role can still be filled by Harmony TB. She'll be way better, yes, but in a world where every Wish matters I can certainly understand how and why people are convincing themselves that "nah, she's not thaaat good".

From what I experience, Bronya who back then was said to never be powercrept just got done TWICE, which means third time to happen is not impossible. And Fugu experience just like what topaz used to feel, Dps being compared to JingLiu and Vulnerability bring compared to Pela. Fugu being compared with Sunday, an ACTUAL support is kinda nuts 😅 Besides, people say it's a summon meta. Never thought of another summon character with Break kit huh. And MC evolves from time to time, unlike in genshin. I am looking forward to each new path, because soo far it ALWAYS help their player account and each time it's completely broken until the meta shifted, ain't got no time using HMC anymore

Also, both Destruction and Preservation MC were pretty bad, I know PMC got some hype because of their Taunt, but they weren't any good at anything. So HMC is the only one that had any relevance and that was purely because Superbreak is broken and they were the only option, not necessarily because the character was actually good.

Not pulling her first time around. I've grown tired of all the future-crafting people are doing with RMC without any real characters to show for it. My Firefly already clears in less than 2 cycles. If RMC ends up being more integral for other comps than HMC for firefly, then I'll pull Fugue on a rerun.

Imo, this is how I’m looking at Fugue. If you have a Rappa she is a must pull. Like no question, shut up and get her. If you have a Bootyhill, HEAVILY consider getting her. I doubt she’ll be his BiS teammate all the time, but she is still incredibly powerful for him and opens up a lot of possibilities. If you have Midfly (it’s a fucking joke, put down the pitchforks), then she’s a consideration. Unlike with Booty or Rappa she doesn’t get anything unique over running her vs HMC, and in-fact loses out on some select synergies/abilities. Still would consider, but it’s still possible to skip without losing much. If you want to play Lingsha SB, sustainless SB, or want to play superbreak while using RMC, then she is also a must pull. Besides that, she’s decent for Acheron, but only if you have Aventurine/Lingsha. I personally think it’s a pretty bad idea if you are going to get her exclusively for Acheron. There are better limited units like Robin or Sunday that she can use, and Pela is $Free.99 and will likely give you extremely similar results. Besides that, ain’t much to talk about. Her niche is break and she does almost nothing noteworthy outside of it, so unlike the Harmony gods she ain’t universal. If you’re looking for universal powerhouses, go look at Mei, Robin, Sunday, Sparkle, etc. Overall she feels pretty clear cut on wether you should get her or not, which is nice at least.

LMAO you just debunked your own theorie, Unlike HMC, she is better then HMC... cause simply put she does more then HMC by being SP Positive and Enhanced Basic attack, you can cope all you want, she is HMC pro Max. by fitting into any team. even those without superbreak. but HMC is FREE that is the only advantage HMC has. so stop coping, either say HMC is crap, then Fugue is crap. or simply be honest you don't have JADE/Tickets left to pull for her. when people already said for F2P Lingsha, Fugue and the Herta are a must pull. Unless you hate those characters, then by all means skip them... hating a character will not make your game more enjoyable to slave it out for their relics and traces XP etc.

@@bronben5479 Unlike harmony god she isn't universal, sadly she is Nihility ( aHarmony) that fits better with Acheron then HMC. she is the most universal character Hoyo has released, she can enable OLD DPSER who do not have that toughness reduction. (cause in the past the enemies hp were not that huge.) she reduce that by defense shred and 50% of having always weakness enabled. who is more universal then that for Damage Dealer who are not NEW.

What older characters are you ‘enabling’ with her? You gonna use SB Blade? SB Jingliu? SB Seele? It’s ass, they do better in crit comps in the first place. Her 50% colorless toughness reduction doesn’t mean shit outside of maybe AS cause all ‘old’ characters only care about dealing a shit ton of Crit based damage. The def shred she provides is laughably low. You won’t be using her as a generalist support at all.

I'm definetly not investing any gems into Fugue and super break at this point anymore. I feel like this is the last buff for that whole playstyle for the next while and as someone who skipped Rappa, Fireflop and Lingsha she won't elevate my account that much. Unlucky for my Boothill but he's been doing a good job even without HMC's super break so I'll be fine without her. Rememberance definetly a higher priority to invest into IMO especially for newer players since we'll likely see another "Acheron outclassing the whole game" situation with the next big hype 3.x dpses.

Why is sunday a Must Pull? cause of summons then maybe, cause Algaea isn't looking so hot currently with her nerfs and high Energy cost Ultimate, that you need Houhou to make it work. action advance, you can use Bronya, must pull cause you like Sunday, then I agree some characters are must pull for people. cause they like it. nothing to do with meta or not, a character you love is a better then a character you are forced to pull, one you invest time and effort into, the other you play with a grudge cause you wanted the other character.
