The job Kano did acting Sully’s character is just absolutely incredible. Sully’s character made the show for me and Kano’s acting specifically had me invested in the show and it’s characters. Well done.

Jason was the only person he really cared about. The dynamic between Sully and Dushane is complex, on one hand they are ‘brothers in arms’ but on the other bitter rivals. But Jason was an innocent really, and seeing tough man Sully be compassionate and caring with him was a beautiful thing. Jason’s death was so sad not just the obvs but the destruction of Sully’s last shred of love for the world 😢 🙏

Thing is with people like sully in the real world is you can be a bad man and have everyone scared of you cos you don't show no respect to anyone, even though he's the killer that's what causes people to lie to him cos they're scared of what he'll do, that creates resentment, he made too many enemies which in my eyes was his downfall, two examples of this is Leons death and Kierans death. Kieran didn't want to say jaq cos at first he didn't know if she robbed the money, plus cos he knew and didn't tell right away he was scared of sullys actions leading him to lie more and when found out is killed because of it

Sully’s decision making in the early seasons showed that he wasn’t fit to be a kingpin. Dushane was the natural leader. He had to clean up Sully’s mess multiple times and Sully would’ve been dead in the first season if it wasn’t for him. He was too hot headed. Sully was thinking like a street level dealer and Dushane was trying to be the plug. I love Sully’s character, but he was a soldier/enforcer. If he embraced that role and let Dushane be the head, their crew would’ve been unstoppable.

Yes and no. They kind of need each other to balance themselves out. Dushane is a natural leader but isn’t as heartless and grounded as Sully. They couldn’t do it with out each other and they kind of knew it. If you listened Sully wanted things to be equal but Dushane shuts him down, this builds hate and in the end it Dushane chose himself as he normally does.

I think Sully killing Jamie was because he couldn't let go of what he had done in the past but also I think Jamie reminded him of Dushane and the idea of Jamie taking over would sit Sully in the number 2 spot again just under a younger Dushane. Sully knew he couldn't retire from the life. He wasn't in it for the money like Dushane was, he was in it because it was a way to survive. It was just a part of who he is now, too much had happened, there was no way he could live a peaceful retirement, he would be hunted and killed. He needed the power to stay alive and there was no-way he was going to work under Jamie.

Nah! I think he was always a cunt. His being kidnapped had nothing to do with it. Season one he wanted to injure an innocent, Kamali’s cousin……just because he was Kamali’s cousin. Dushane had to stop that by presenting a better idea, where a “civilian” doesn’t get unnecessarily hurt. Why he seems worse in the last 2 seasons is because he doesn’t listen to Dushane anymore, I mean…not even a little bit. Most of his behaviour comes from his resentment of being second to Dushane, his obsession with being respected, being at the top since he’s always been in Dushane’s shadow. Even in the final season both Jaq and Kieron went behind his back and informed Dushane whenever there was a problem because they didn’t have faith in him to solve those problems.

Sully was Dushane's flaw that had to go, but the antihero was too attached to that pitball. He irrationally killed Sean Lewis and Leon. Sully should been clipped in Summerhouse, as Bobby Raikes advised, but Dushane didn't listen, that cost him his life in episode finale.

What cost Dushane his life was getting robbed by lizzie and killing her husband. He then became desperate and ultimately killed himself

I think Dushane gave Lizzie the last push in the first episode when he asked for the money for his partner's business. He pushed too hard and maybe Lizzie understood that at some point it would end up bad for her. I could be wrong, maybe the money was already gone.

Sully is one the best written characters I’ve seen in a long long time in a Netflix show or most shows nowadays. Sully FULLY sticks with the code and watching his character development clash with Dashane was a very very good touch even till the end. People laugh at the meme “ I would have given you the money” but the truth is he would have cos he sly wants approval because he could have took him out at anytime? PLUS Sully normally kill’s people in the head but he shot Dushane in the stomach and didn’t finish him off, he could bare to watch him bleed out but he knew he had to stick to the code even if it was his friend.

@@user-ii4rq5ko3x😂 would be kinda fitting I guess but the scene of dushanes eyes glazing over just wouldn’t make sense that way 💀 also Jaq wouldn’t say it’s all good cos she wouldn’t think everything is all good unless she knew she was gonna kill Sully

@@user-ii4rq5ko3x yep. Also, I’m pretty sure the bags were in the car right? Meaning if it was Dushane, the Irish, Si, etc they would’ve taken the bag, not walk off. I don’t think Jaq wanted the drug money and maybe that’s why she left it if was her, or it honestly could’ve been Raif. The other big possibility is that the Irish didn’t care about the drugs, just the message, but I think the Jaq theory is better

Animal kingdom is about a family of thieves and their mother created an empire while they were growing up having connections to everything and the acting is just amazing they play their characters perfect even the flash back characters.
