Reason players take less money to play for them . Also look at the players they sign to long deals , they are very smart about that. In what world does Soto get more money than mookie . It's fun and injuries are very unpredictable, just look how dodgers won with 19 injured pitchers last year. The Yankees did it for a century and baseball was more famous than it is now in days.

That would be the greatest honor and you will be treated as a hero in Japan.
