Understanding the Different Modes of Ground Proximity Warning System or GPWS!

The GPWS is an important system in an Aircraft that protects the aircraft when it is flying at lower altitudes. This system has different modes which are given as MODE 1 to MODE 5 OR MODE 6 in some aircraft.
As the name suggests this system provides Cautions or Warnings in the Cockpit if the aircraft is on a collision course with the ground. The video gives an understanding of the basic GPWS system and also explains the different modes individually, to give an idea on the working of the GPWS system.
