@@TalkingToAWall Based on stats, Caitlin Averaged 19.2 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 8.4 apg, and 1.3 spg. Meanwhile, the MVP, A’ja Wilson averaged 26.9 ppg, 11.9 rpg, 2.3 apg, 1.8 spg, and 2.6 bpg. There are other players that are just better than her, but it’s only her first year so I don’t know you expect. But I wouldn’t be surprised if she wins the MVP by her third year in the WNBA.

Caitlin Clark has had such an impact, that my mom (who gives me, my dad, and my brother shit for wanting to spend all day watching football) wants to plan a trip to Indianapolis with her sisters to go watch Caitlin Clark play. My mom, who could not be bothered to attend any sporting event because spending money on that sort of thing does not interest her, is willing to travel from Minnesota, get a hotel, and pay a premium price for basketball tickets because Caitlin Clark is that important of a figure.

Angel sucks and managed a double double, and that never before seen run. I watch her game and just cringe and how bad she looks. She's definitely beautiful and will achieve great heights if she's able to pair some game with her look. She just needs to improve her shooting and touch around the hoop and it can be a great rivalry, which would be great for the league... CC still has room to improve and if she becomes deadlier from range it will be a lot more fun. Just seems like too much time off between seasons...

I can't get over the absolute swarms of young girls coming to see her in this vid alone. She could inspire a whole generation of girls to play hoops, who want to learn to shoot and pass like she does. And people will undoubtedly stick around and see other great players in the league as well. You need people like CC who come in and are just doing things you never seen before. It grows the game. People will literally be practicing and growing skills that they never did before because the bar has been raised. And controversial take, I'd rather see CC taking beyond NBA 3's and making them, than a girl bigger than anybody else miss 5 layups and get all those rebounds

I'm used to NBA speed/talent so when I watch the WNBA it's like watching little kids struggle to hit layups, and when I watch CC you can tell she's better. She looks more NBA then WNBA, and she will hopefully get better as in faster and more efficient and thus separate herself further from them. What also works against the others is when Angel Reese who looks so bad is commenting anything regarding CC. Hopefully Angel takes basketball seriously becomes a female like Julius randle and creates a nice rivalry. Both need to continue to improve their respective games. I do think that the options that Angel has or perhaps her interests might not line up with basketball. Where CC just seems like a gym rat. We will see what becomes of their respective careers.

@@RandomUsersRandomAccountOnly thing wrong with the comp, and it’s pretty significant, is that Drummond averaged 60% from the field his rookie season. Angel is the devil and Clark is god to them. anything angel does is not real ,does not exist or should not have happened but everything clark does is supposed to happen or its someone else fault. that's why AB and most of the fever had to get off of social media. the constant harassment by her fans. even though she isn't shooting well from 3 and has historic turnover rates. so much so that she broke the wnba record for turnovers in the first 20 games. not a rookie record... a wnba record lmao. She plays absolutely no defense and is a big reason they lost to the suns in the playoffs. she was constantly not guarding her man which lead to mabrey just hitting them from 3 all game.. she isnt consistant at all but she can shoot deep so people care more about that i guess. she has no midrang jumper, no floater and she cant layup or is uncomfortable laying up on her left side. she also gives up during games she feels she can't win. you can see it how she plays and her face during those times but hey she can really beat a chair lmao.

Thank you for this excellent video. Like many I knew nothing about the WNBA until I stumbled across a few youtube videos with highlights of Caitlin Clark plays. Her talent is extraordinary. She can score from anywhere on the court. She controls the ball equally well with either hand. Amazing passing with incredible precision - whether a long-distance pass or a behind-the-back bounce pass. And unlike several WBNA players, she exhibits good sportsmanlike conduct on and off the court. The WBNA needs to get rid of about 1/3 of its players - and all of the corrupt refs. Too many play dirty, and too many scream racism. There are too many flagrant fouls where the refs look the other way - or they look with a blind eye and silently cheer the offender. Caitlin Clark is here to play clean professional basketball - and that is what attracts fans. Too many other players are there to play dirty full-contact roller derby - and that is what turns fans off.

It's crazy the amount of hate she gets. I mean Bird was white but the rest of the NBA didn't hate on him for it and that was back in the 80's. CC gets hate from the rest of the league because she is straight, white and Christian. These WNBA players and former players need to get over themselves and realize CC is good for all of them. They should be promoting her and pushing her brand. I do have to give CC credit for the way she has handled it all though, she has stayed humble and kept her mouth shut. That can't be easy with all the $h17 everyone talks and the way she's treated during games.

And to think that the refs refused to give her even the most obvious calls. To think that Caitlin was hacked and literally assaulted on several occasions. It's a miracle she was not injured. They refused to let her be even slightly open for her jump shot, so she passed like a demon. She is even better than we thought.

I am male, heterosexual, Japanese-American, and born in Seattle in 1973 (so you know what point of view I'm writing from). I honestly think that the reason why other WNBA WOMEN hate Caitlin Clark, is because she's good, she's attractive, she's White, and the real knock out punch: She's STRAIGHT. I really think the "attractive and heterosexual" REALLY angers many of the other WNBA players. They're jealous!

Really, it's as simple as two stats that Jimmy showed: 1 - Diana Taurasi was probably the best offensive WNBA player of all time. CC's rookie season 38+ generated PPG BLEW Taurasi out of the water. 2 - Her avg 3pt attempt distance is longer than ANY NBA player last year. Bombing 3's and dropping dimes makes you legendary. Anyone saying different is ignorant or jealous (or both)
