HI SHILPI .. RUBINA FROM LONDON UK 🇬🇧 I LOVE YOUR RECIPES.. I ALSO MAKE THIS RECIPE BUT NOT AS PILAU.. I BOIL THE RICE MAKE MASOOR KI DAAL KA MASALA SEPARATE THEN LAYERS THEM WITH FRIED SLICES OF POTATOES AND STEAM THEM FOR 15 MINUTES.. FINALLY GARNISH WITH GREEN CHILLI AND CORIANDER..

Hello dear, in fact it is mentioned in the video at 4:23, but nevertheless the ratio used here is 1/2 cup whole masoor dal : 1 cup basmati rice : 2 1/2 cups of water. Hope this was helpful to you😊. Happy cooking and stay healthy 🙏
