I think it's because humans feel attracted to energies. We may experience more joy with our friends or relate more to them on a deep level. Our parents are relatable too, but not so much on a mental/spiritual level. On one side we have the people that we share our genes with and on the other we have the people that we share meaning with. Meaning is a lot more important to a lot of humans, we are greedy for information most of the time..

"is it better if you don't know, or is it better if you don't speak?" is knowledge the root of pain? should I hide this knowledge to prevent further pain from manifesting itself? "is it better if you don't see or is it better if you don't seek?" reality is very broad and acts almost like radio station, you can tune into multiple parallel realities by changing your view or image. personality = personal reality once you've become spiritual and tuned into a "negative" reality you might get regrets about it. is it better if we hide these regrets and newfound knowledge and become who we used to be. should I stop seeking for the light or should I embrace this pain and run with it? am I supposed to be in this situation or have I just given myself even more problems. "I don't wanna be a figure on a database" I don't want the world to become a place full of numbers where humans are seen as assets instead of people. figure = number/public figure database = synonym for a world where everyone loses their self worth / everything becoming data-based. "how are you the odd one out when you decide to raise the stakes" again talking about everyone becoming the same, a number "because we're never given symbol, signs" (symbols and signs in spirituality, aka esoteric stuff such as weird occurrences that people call "guardian angels") "I've seen too many people sniffing on these nimble lines" Drug addiction, everyone is using the same solution to cope with a much bigger problem
