You tell me, I'm not sure how much more of this tragedy I can handle. Would be nice if something could have a TRULY happy ending once in a while. There seems to be a trend in the past decade or two that nothing can end well (yes I understand they managed to send the plans, but you know what I mean, preferably without all the main and side characters dying). It would be very very refreshing to see someone break the ''cycle'' every once in a while at least. Wonderful film regardless, but I cried like a little baby.

I think the hug they had at the end was one of the best hugs I've ever seen in a movie as they knew it was the end but used each other for support.

I believe that Cassian and Jyn did kiss in the elevator. In the first scene she is looking up at him and he is leaning with his head tilted. In the next scene they are both standing up straight and her arm is around his neck, as they gaze into each others eyes. I think that the kiss happened between the first and second scene and that is why Cassian is looking so intensely at Jyn.
