I think they were going to do a sequel, but now they can't. Most of the footage from the trailers weren't even in the movie, a lot were cut and replaced by something else. I am convinced that this movie was going to end completely different, but all the reshoots guaranteed that they would all die. I think originally, at least a few of them would live, including Jyn. The "sequel" they're talking about, isn't really a sequel. She was going to return in a Luke Skywalker spin off. I remember crying and telling my family that the ending depressed me so much because they don't even know if the Rebellion won, I at least wanted her to meet Luke Skywalker. But she could pop up in the Han Solo movie.

The hammehead corvette was inspired... Watching the superstructure of the Star destroyer gradually collapsing was such fantastic attention to detail

Rogue One was such a breath of fresh air in the sense of characters but a familiar story line and a side of StarWars we never got to see. I really enjoyed it and hope there are more StarWars Stories to come!

@The Rue Morgue I disagree. Also, the whole movie takes place in like a day. How did you want the characters to change in a day? It's not like the other star wars movies with 3 films and a decade to change, it's 1 or 2 days. And I think it's more of an eye opening movie. By the end, the characters saw the bigger picture, that they don't matter in comparison to the galactic war; they're just a sentence in the opening scroll of a movie. It's a great film imo
