@@jacquelinemanzano9328 thank you for your suggestion. I Googled Mortons Neuroma. The damage is a result of the fall. The bone was crushing the nerves of inner part of my foot. Also during surgery, the outer ligament popped off. An orthopedist replaced it with a cadavers ligament. I wear orthotics and ergonomic sneakers. I also joined a gym, but I got tendinitis, so I am going to rest it for a while.

I was in an accident recently during my sister's funeral we left the funeral home I was in the middle of the procession I was a Paul barrer, we was going through a intersection, we had a police escort my lights and flashers were on as as I was told to do before leaving the funeral home....a woman at the intersection tried cutting through the middle of the procession her light turned green so she went ignoring the procession...idk why the police were not at the crossing and I wound up missing her funeral it was the last thing that I could have done for my sister....o and the chief of police tried telling me I was at fault....but come to find out it was his sister in law that tried cutting through the procession....do I have a case how would you handle it

I was recently in 2 car accidents that were both not my faulty. First one was a younger driver who made a left turn against a yellow light, and struck one car, and i avoided a head on collision but still damaged the whole right front quarter panel. Back and neck issues for both my wife and i. 2 weeks later, inwas stopped at a red light and was rear-ended and shoved into the car ahead of me. My neck,back and shoulder now have even more damage... shoulder has tear in the rotator cuff and my back and neck both have 3 herniations. How do they disseminate between the 2 injuries ? The doctors are talking about fusing my neck and back, and surgery to repair my shoulder. Im only 53 and am worried that having the fusion will limit what i am able to do in the future. I was a kayak enthusiast, and enjoyed hicking, biking and camping. Now im worried that some of those things will never be enjoyed again. Who decides what is acceptable compensation ??

Hey J, I was recently hosting a meeting at the Hampton in when a TV that wasn’t mounted on the wall hit me in the head. The maintenance man advised me that he saw me sitting down and also advised “My bad” to me. I’ve been told I have a concussion, I’ve had headaches, drowsy, dazed and eye pain. I would recommend you look up lawyers in your area and maybe meet. Give them info and read over your contracts. Go to like 3 or 4 of them to get a good feel and read all contracts. The ER visits will cost a lot of money and it will only get worse. The adjuster won’t give much and will lowball you. The more you communicate with him/her the worse for you because they will use that against you. Please stop thinking the adjuster is your friend because they are NOT…

I am an adjuster my self. Every insurance company does this depending on the claim. Complex claims that are in litigation, will likely involve some sort of surveillance. A good attorney will advise you that it is a possibility so you don't go doing things that help the insurance companies defense. I have seen many times where the injured party reports difficulty bending, lifting, walking etc. And after surveillance and social media investigations we find them doing exactly that, bending, lifting walking.. This does not happen all the time. But it does happen more than you think. The insurance company's job is to protect their insured and settle the claim within policy limits. Also it's not uncommon for some injury claims to stay open for years.

The other persons insurance unfortunately has no obligation to pay you for your injuries or damages. They will always take their insureds version of the accident just like how yours would take your side. Really the best way to convince them you are not at fault is if you have evidence. Like a dash camera, independent eye witness, surveillance video etc. If not then you may have to file suit and hire an attorney. But even then without evidence of what the lights were at the time of the accident, it will be very difficult to recovery any damages. My wife was in an accident where the tractor trailer merged into her lane & hit our truck. Multiple herniated discs in neck and back both pressing on spinal cord causing pain radiating down arms as well as re-injury of previous broken ankle. I am not an attorney. But you need to make sure you have the other parties insurance information. If you believe they are at fault and your car is not accruing storage fees at a tow yard, make a claim with their insurance company. You can get a consultation with an attorney if you like. If you don't want to deal with that and don't want to seek treatment, you can just say you were injured and are experiencing neck pain. Some insurance companies will pay you a "nuisance settlement". Where they pay you a certain amount to release their insured from liability. So if you don't want to deal with treatment or dealing with an attorney this can be a quick way to resolve your claim. But if you believe you will need treatment then I would advise waiting to settle until you are finished with your treatment, gather up all your medical bills and records, then make a demand for the amount your medical bills are worth and your pain and suffering. You always have the right to an attorney, just realize that attorneys do take a cut of your settlement, and they themselves have many other clients. Hiring an attorney will make the settlement process longer. But its up to you to decide if that is worth it. Then that is just a very bad stroke of luck. Why I always suggest getting your self high Underinsured/Uninsured motorist coverage limits in the event something like that happens. It happens a lot in Florida where minimum limits for bodily injury are $10k per person. AND its not even required, so some people drive around with $0 bodily injury limits.

From experience even when you have Underinsured motorist cover with your own insurance company, they will still like all insurance company’s still try to get out of paying you anything, I would go so far to say it’s harder to claim on your underinsured policy with your own insurance company than the third at fault party who caused the accident offers to settle but as mentioned only had the Florida minimum bodily injury limit, which in Florida your lucky if it covers the ER visit, so underinsured motorist cover is absolutely no guarantee that your insurance company will pay you a dime and leave you no option to seek legal advice to claim on your own policy that you have paid for, insurance in todays climate guarantees you nothing anymore..

@@RealJustinZiegler thank you for responding. No other vehicle was involved. I was told she dropped something on the floor and went to reach for it. Her passenger panicked because the car swerved and yanked her steering wheel causing my mom to lose control of the vehicle and roll it down a hill on the side of the highway. The accident happened in GA and my mom also lives with me in GA. She is on my coverage but because I don’t know if she is going to be found at fault and I don’t know if I can ask for my policy limit of 25k to help with her medical bills. Unfortunately she is going to need a lot of physical therapy and doctor appointments. She has been in the ICU for 5 days already so I know she’s racking up a bill. Thank God she has Medicare and Medicaid. My main concern is having my car paid off ( I have lease/loan pay off through progressive but not gap). And also wanting to now if my policy will pay for pain and suffering if my own driver is found at fault.

My passenger dash air bag did not deploy at all nor did the rear or driver curtain air bags. The passenger and those on the scene said my moms driver airbag also did not deploy leaving her with some nasty gashes on her face. My car spun around on the highway and then rolled 5 times her airbags should have went off. Is this worth contacting a lawyer?

I have an attorney who’s handling the case at the moment. My attorney isn’t communicating with me as he supposed to. It’s too late for me to replace him. In most cases, I get paid around 33 1/3% of the settlement. You're rounding this up to near 50%. That's incorrect. I do feel for people who get seriously injured in accidents. While I wasn't the one who got hurt in the accident, I spent 7 years in college and law school to become a lawyer. The cost of that is around $200,000 or so. To become a lawyer, I took a tough bar exam, and went through an intense background check. In addition, I've spent several thousands of hours becoming an expert at personal injury claims. And I keep up with Florida injury law weekly, and often times daily. This allows me to present my client's cases in the light most favorable to them, and fight back against insurance company arguments and delays that are often ridiculous. Almost all of my clients are very happy that they hired me. They often say that they wouldn't have been able to get even close to the same amount of money in their pocket without me as their lawyer.
