This is extremely misleading. The average payout has no thing to do with any claim. Likes like asking a car dealership what is the average selling price of your cars. Price range maybe $15k to $120K. The average price has no benefit to the customer and is meaningless in determining settlement. Adjusters are not ranked on average payout at all, it is a useless number. . There is no such thing as double authority for settlement. Each adjuster has a total amount they can approve based on experience. If the settlement is above that, then it must be approved by a manager. Depending on the settlement amount, depends on the level it must go to get approved. There is no such thing as double approval. Watching this video lets me know this guy has no clue on how the insurance adjuster are ranked or how they complete settlements. If you have a receipt and it matches the facts of loss and the amount is in line with normal costs, then insurance will pay it. Insurance is looking to cover your expenses, they are not there for you to profit. Speak with someone who actually works in the industry and knows facts. This guy does not

And at 8:34 in the vid, I showed how a regional claims manager was happy that average loss/claim payouts went down. The mention of average payouts (early in the vid) was, in part, to highlight that most claims are often smaller than people expect. This information helps set realistic expectations for claimants, showing that high settlements are not as common as perceived. 2. Adjuster Authority: An adjuster who worked at a large, national carrier once told me that his total settlement authority was twice his first offer. This doesn't imply a formal "double authority" system, but it does give an idea of how initial offers can relate to the final settlement authority. 3. Settlement Process: It's true that insurance aims to cover expenses, not provide a profit. However, accident victims without a lawyer are at a big disadvantage as they're going up against experienced claims professionals who are skilled and can be very persuasive. Navigating the process can be complex, and having accurate documentation is crucial. Most people are clueless as to how much pain and suffering is worth, and how to prove future damages, and often times even past damages. 4. Also, I used to defend insurance companies and got a behind the scenes look at how insurance companies handle claims, negotiation and strategy. Question : In general is career training cost admissible As say future cost in a slip And fall If you can no longer have the ability to continue the career you had up to the fall? I.E. : You were working outside with your hands/feet for a company that was not related to the lawsuit/injury But due to the fall/slip You are no longer able to do the same work ..Nerve damage Or continual 8 hour lifting Lesser weight able etc. The career you are better suited for. Say office clerk Or a less physical job that requires training not paid by the company. - First aid Whmis, Exel, Bookkeeping ect.. I was knocked off my bike in 2015, the driver admitted fault to the police at the scene of the accident, a few weeks later while convalescing at home, a telephone conversation with the insurance company confirmed their insured driver had been in touch and confirmed again the accident was their fault, however the insurance company said they would only deal with my claim through a solicitor and not deal with me directly, even though a police report, hospital reports (several broken bones and lacerations) and driver admitted responsibility, were available, i asked the insurance company representative on the phone call, how long would this take to settle, he replied "years and years" meaning several years, it turned out to be a "master class" in deliberating delaying which in itself has had serious negative impact on my health, the insurance company produced its first medical report after four and half years, there are very many other examples of deliberate delaying, even writing this short very brief summary brings everything back to me

I sustained a back injury to my spine. After the accident and needed Chiropractic relief for the pain. I found out that my spine was not straight, but the accident is not the cause of that, but it did make it worse. I have accidental injury protection with Uber. That I paid for and I had filed a claim in May for the accident that happened in December. I did not know that I had to file a separate claim with Uber since I had already filed with my insurance. Uber and progressive work with insurance. But you have to have a claim with both. Anyway, they still haven't covered the bill for my Chiropractic visits.. Since then, I stopped driving for Uber. Because my vehicle is too old to drive with them anyway. There is a fifteen year age requirement for your car! And I ended up buying the same. Make and model and year as the car I had in the accident

I was recently involved in a car accident two weeks ago in New Jersey where another driver hit my car because she ran a red light while I proceeded on green. Long story short my car was deemed a total loss and my insurance is lowballing me. I had no idea that I can file a claim under at fault drivers insurance. I did not accept the offer with my insurance .Can I still file a claim under her insurance or is it too late?

thats the way it usually works. The client rarely benefits from the law suits. Attorney will usually get a higher settlement, but they will take a chunk and you will end up with less and pay a higher premium on your insurance

I have some questions for you I had an ups truck pulled in front of me on my motorcycle I’m 21 and am dealing with possibly life long injuries. I have talked with countless Lawer’s and have written up a statement to got he to the claim guy. Should I try and tell them my self or just go with a Lawer to be safe. Could I possibly mess things up if I do go at it my self that a Lawer can’t save?

depends what your medical costs are. If the medical costs are more than $40k then yes. If they are not going to exceed $40k the second offer will be the same. Do you have all of the receipts? Total them up and see what they come up too, this will answer your question.
