He didn't want to either. Mikoto's power was reaching its limit and he didn't have enough power to kill another King. He offered to kill the colorless king for Mikoto but Mikoto refused. So in the end, Mikoto killed the King by himself which then exceeded his limit. In order to destroy Mikoto's Sword of Damocles, Munakata had no choice but to kill Mikoto or else, everyone else would've died [I mean EVERYONE]. So he didn't have a choice.): It was a difficult decision for him as well. Thank you ^^

KiseKurumi mikoto himself knew what he was doing was wrong , but he himself realised that there was no saving himself when he knew he wasent afraid that if he kiled a king hed die. In the light novels it is explained thst mikotos clan homra while they are important to him they are more like chains holding him back especialy tartara who when he died there was nothing to hold mikotos thirst for destruction. Its explained that deep down mikoto himself wished to be destroyed.and this is further backed by the colorles king who set it himself in the manga that its not hes fault mikoto is like that its mikotos because hes like a bomb with a short fuse. And well the reason mikoto abuses hes power us a king and as a result dameging hes own weismen level is because hes dearest wish is to realise all hes power and be free. To him that is freedom.and this is found in mikotos theme song in the wiki if you read the lyrics. Thats why when mikoto went to save anna, and at that time there was no blue king since habari jin the previous blue king died and munaka have yet to succed him. Mikoto never realy had an aponent he could go all out because the gold kimg decided not to mess with mikoto because trying to eliminate him would be to risky. And well the other kings were else were shiro in sky ichigen in the mountens and green and gray were hiding. Wich let mikoto to rule shizume city . Thank you

Guys if you read the light novels youl find out that their relationship wasent always so good. When they first met all they wanted to do was kill each other. Munakata was wondering why in the hell did the gold king not try to execute mikoto for being such a bad king , thinking that it was to risky so he let him be. Wich shows mikotos power and why he was ruling the town before munakata became king. After that they clashed countles times became friends in doing so

It should be so. they are so different and definitely cannot get along well at the beginning. However, Suoh's feeling towards Munakata was more like a sudden relief and refreshment from the suffering and anxiety that he had been in. I don't think they wanted to kill each other even if they disliked each other at first.

I agree that their relationship was really bad at first but in the first season (the timeline of this video), you can tell Mikoto only feel relieved and satisfied when he fights with Munakata. Mikoto has always been suppressing his own power cause he has a nightmare of killing his own friends and family and only after meeting Munakata, another king which has the power to stop him, Mikoto can be himself and use his power freely. Cause he knows once he fucked up, Munakata will kill him to prevent his sword up in the sky killing everyone. It has been years but I hope more people can understand they are the only one which can understand each other even tho it wasn't like that at first.
