Changes for 2024: Stylevana - not much, they seem to be shipping faster overall though YesStyle - No more daily free gifts 😢, less rewards points. In good changes, lower shipping minimums and they added C-Beauty (which is currently very underrated, especially in the U.S.) Stylekorean - more promos for free shipping at $50-60!

Hey from Germany! No taxes and my orders takes between 2-5 weeks to arrive! You are perfectly right about that comment usually', but I live with it. Stylevana prices are so good, I accept the delivery issue since I know I can buy what I need at a fraction of the price elsewhere!

Whenever I compare the prices, Stylevana always comes out on top. Sometimes it’s a huge difference in price. I’m willing to wait a bit longer to get such good deals. But recently they’ve been much faster in shipping and delivery. I can’t give you exact differences, but I’ll start tracking it. My most recent order, received today, came from a fulfillment center in my state. Perhaps that accounts for the decrease in shipping time.

I have placed 3 orders with stylevana and they all took the same time, taking care of purchasing those who said shipping in 24 hours, I got the shipping notification 2 weeks later 😅 and 2 weeks traveling for all the U.S hahaha got my products in exactly 4 weeks, then thanks to you found stylekorean and I'm obsessed buying from them, I placed an order on Saturday and I received the package on Thursday i love that they have an option for food too 😊 and as a tip because DHL is a bit expensive I always wait for my sister or a close friend to place an order so we can reach the $80+ and get the free shipping 😊 love your channel, sending you a big hug 💜

I wanted to place an order from StyleKorean, but when checking out, I saw the shipping cost was 67 euro’s… my total items were about 90. That’s when I found out stylekorean doesn’t offer free shipping to my country (Sweden). I’d have to pay that + VAT for another 30 euros making my total spend 180 euros, and DOUBLE the item cost. 20:35 I did try and mess with my cart for a while, but the shipping cost never went below 35 euros for only 3-4 items. That’s why I’d rather sit out the long stylevana shipping times, get free shipping and skip the VAT.

I'm living in Canada. First time ordering at Style Korean and I was so shocked that the customs fee was so ridiculous. I spent $58 for the products but $32 for customs, almost double the price 😂. The variety of brands and products is good but I don't think I will buy from them again. About Stylevana, they have the best deal but like you mentioned, their shipping and delivery is so slow. After not getting the shipping notice for 3 weeks, I actually thought my products might never come, not to mention I couldn't track my package too. I don't want to have that feeling anymore so Stylevana is also a NO for me. Now I stick to Olive Young. Free shipping >$60, better customs fee, good deals, variety of products, biggest retailer for cosmetics in Korea too and I can receive my package after 3 weeks. Btw, your video is so informative. Obsessed with olive young! Great rewards for reviews and amazing sales. Most of their products are special kits for the same price as one. I live in California and I literally get my orders anywhere from 3-5 days after placing, I don’t know how they do it!

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this video. I had made probably three orders with Stylevana that came in less than a month, which was about what I had expected. The order I made in September (2022) that I finally canceled in the middle of November came in just under $200. But I did not know about the red line! I just knew to avoid things that were backordered, but I didn’t know about that shipping hint. Thank you for that. I was trying to order Christmas presents early. I kept checking and it would say "processing," and finally I started e-mailing them and they even sent a reply that said it was due to COVID! Then I ended up switching my order to Yesstyle, paying a little bit more, dropping a couple things off the order, and that also took almost 6 weeks. I can understand that a little bit better because it was by then the holidays ... but still. I now know that if I want to get people Christmas presents, I'd better order in the summertime. 😁 And I think you’re absolutely right that ordering skin care from abroad really requires patience. What bothered me the most with my recent orders was how hard it was to get anyone to respond to me, how indifferent their replies were, and how I ultimately got my order without a single sample! :-(

Yeah, tbh I feel like I’ve never seen such slow shipping until October of last year. It was unprecedented! I don’t know if it’s the growing popularity of K-Beauty or something else, but wow every retailer was much slower than usual. Thankfully things seem to be picking back up!

In Canada, I try to avoid companies that ship with DHL. They are the worst! They’re customs fee is $19 to start where as fedex is $8 minimum. 😬

I made the mistake of ordering a "Low stock" product from Stylevana. I don't remember the shipping time being very far out - particularly because there was a holiday gift in my order. I placed the order on November 11. After following up with them twice, they removed the item (which was discontinued) from my order, and it finally shipped - yesterday. That's 105 days. I was pretty patient because of all the holidays, plus the pandemic being so bad in Hong Kong, but my order just slipped through the cracks. I'm sure I will order from them again eventually - it had been more than a year this time - but I will never again order something that's not fully in stock.

105 days! 🤯 that is very understandable. I think that what stylevana should do is build-in a system wherein an order that hasn’t yet shipped can be modified/cancelled. I imagine it’s probably easier said than done, but I know a few retailers that do this and it’s VERY helpful. Edit: understandable to be flustered!

I do live shopping at Stylevana, but my recent experience was not good! I made sure....made ABSOLUTELY SURE that I only included items which were in stock and ready to ship in (usually) 24hrs. However, imagine my horror when a day later (yes, I know....I was just excited I guess!) when I checked my order list and went through my order, item by item to see if shipping times had changed, there was one item, one itty bitty Anua (mini) toner which was holding the entire order up most likely!!! It now says 'dispatch within 30 days' and I'm like....wtf???? I know, I should have expected something to go awry I guess. But honestly, my previous orders hadn't been too bad, like around max 1 month till I received them. I agree, if its a product you are desperate to try, I don't know about other countries, but in London (UK) there are several companies which you can order from which are a bit pricier but you get your order in less than a week! Like about 3 or 4 days max really! They're not scammers. They're just ridiculously busy!!! 😂

I got my last yes style order in two days, same with olive young and style Korean and I’m in the us, then a separate order I placed with yesstyle, and stylevanaa on the same day are still not here two weeks and counting 😅 and I know this is the older video but I usually only shop olive young when I can’t find the item I’m looking for at the other places which seems to happen a lot. While I do love their fast shipping, that they usually get new products fast and in a bigger shade range than other retailers, and they do a ton of free gifts that imo are better than what I’ve gotten elsewhere. Only downside for me is they just seem to just be a tiny bit more expensive for some things.

For some reason I've been so hesitant to order from overseas because my head can't seem to wrap itself around the fact that the products are legitimate for the prices you pay, even though I know they are haha. Will be placing an order soon! :) And 2. My co-worker introduced me to Soko Glam, and I think it's a great option for anyone who's a true newbie to asian skincare and doesn't want to buy/is hesitant from overseas. They're based in NY and import the products, so it's more like a Sephora or Ulta situation (and the prices reflect that - they're similar to Ulta prices IMO) so shipping is typically standard U.S. shipping speeds (a week ish). One note is they have a more limited selection compared to Stylevana/YesStyle/Style Korean and since they're U.S. based they only sell sunscreens that include our approved filters, which is a bummer haha

I've only bought from yes style. After my first purchase, I found that they will refund the customs for some countries in store credit so I basically have a running credit with them. I'm sure some other sites might be cheaper, but the customs would likely make up the difference and I'm not sure if any of these other sites offer credit for customs.

I've purchased from StyleKorean with no issues, and it took about 5 days to be delivered after purchase. They pack everything so nice. I also purchased from Blooming KOKO, which seems to be their US affiliate? Took about 3-4 days after purchase. Also, they pack very neatly too. The customs fees are not determined by the shipping company but by the amount of your purchase. Anything $200 and under will not incur custom charges. Anything above $200 dollars will incur custom charges.

My first order from stylvanna, I didn't hear any shipping info for 2 weeks. I contacted their customer service to find out about my order and they informed me the order was waiting for 1 item. They gave me the option to remove that item from my order, which i did, and I recd the shipping info within a day or two.

There's been bulk buys of 10 of the same thing for upto 80% off. My most recent purchase was for things costing under a dollar and up to 10. I ordered loads of cosrx cica items. For Germany at least I know that yesstyle already adds the appropriate tax during Check-out, so you won't get any surprise duty fees, even on heavier items.

The comments people made about Stylevanna threw me off buying from them even though they are in my small budget but after watching your video I definitely want to check them out too. I feel like YesStyle is a great starter just because they really are such a reliable retailer. Stylevana has the best prices, but it’s not one to order from if you need something immediately! And yes definitely, always reapply to the influencer programs. I don’t think any of us get in the first time, but you keep growing, reapplying, and eventually you’ll get in! 😃

Such a helpful and informative video, thank you! I just ordered the Isa Knox UV Sun Pro waterproof sunscreen (Odile Monod’s favorite) from Stylevana in preparation for the hotter weather in a month or two 😂. Another US-based store I’d like to suggest is Olive Kollection, which ships via USPS from their warehouse in California. The prices are closer to retail but you’re paying for service. iHerb is also good for k-beauty and ships super quickly but they usually don’t have the very latest releases.

Update: it took 2 weeks to get to US east coast. Not bad. The Isa Knox sunscreen is rather nice but the fragrance is stronger and more persistent than I’d prefer. I’m still going to wear it on hotter days but probably won’t repurchase. I also have a mini 10ml AHC Masters cream to try out. It’s rated 80-minutes water resistant and has citrus essential oils, like the sun stick (the best in my opinion), which I don’t mind. If I end up liking it, my issue is that the full size is only 30ml 🙃 Why can’t more sunscreens come in 100ml? 😭

Yes Yes Yes to the YesStyle Cloth buying info and reviews. I've bought Clothes from AliExpress, Shein, and lately Temu at Great prices. I bought shoes that were a bit big and repurchased, and I'm concerned mainly about clothes sizing. Sometimes The sizes are so small /asian sizes, so I'd love to know how you maneuver sizes....I bought a medium jacket once I could barely get on my arm.....I wear an 8 and will usually go a size up to make sure it fits, but only on tops, afraid to try pants or more fitted things. SO Yes...a clothing review would be Grand!

But i trusted them (my first time) and ordred 5 products which all were ready to be shipped in 24hrs. March 7th I placed the order and two days later( stressed out af) got shipping information and today ie march 15 I got my things delivered. Thankyou so much stylevana. YesStyle has become my main retailer for K-Beauty. I never pay customs or other fees. I wanted to try Stylevana but unfortunately the shipping fees were crazy (Europe, the Netherlands) and I don't know if I'd also have to pay customs after, so that stops me from buying there.

Also NL and have placed 7 orders with Stylevana so far. 5 came via DHL within 5 to 8 days 🤩 Never had to pay customs (unlike for Jolse orders). But the last 2, one placed at the beginning of January, one in February, are shipped via DPD and. I'm. Still. Waiting. On. It. 😴 One looks like it never left Hong Kong 😒 so I suppose DPD lost the parcel... Sent an email to Stylevana yesterday to claim the parcel lost. It says in the FAQ that NL orders are shipped within 14 days, never longer ⚠️ if it does take longer, you have to contact customer service within 14 days after you received the shipping notice. Kinda paradox, right? So they would be able to search for your parcel. I'm not very hopeful about them coming back to me anytime soon but at least I can hope for a refund... Stylevana recently lowered shipping costs to 4,39€ btw ✌🏽

I think Yesstyle got a bit greedy, they raised their prices and added tax and increased shipping prices too, I didn't really shop much last year with them and now I've seen their shipping price reduced and they have lots of offers again, probably because people stopped shopping with them as much lol

If I can add another pro to style Korean, they use paper wrapping which is much better for the environment than bubble wrapping. Both yestyle and stylvanna use bubble wrapping and products can still come damaged especially in yestyle boxes. Style Korean boxes are sturdy and well packed that everything I’ve ordered came in perfect condition.

Stylevana doesn't ship to my country (Finland) so yesstyle it is 😄😄. And on the other hand, if stylevana would ship to my country, I would have to pay custom and taxes because other EU countries where SV ships to have to. But Yesstyle includes vat in all prizes so there is no custom fees or taxes to be paid separately. And YS shipping is cheap: standard shipping is only 4,80e under 65e value package and free for over 65e value package. The only con is that shipping time can take weeks but apparently they have made it quicker starting this year. It took under three weeks to get my latest parcel when before it was ab 5 weeks.

The k beauty makeup I was interested in was eyeshadow. Cool toned neutral with mattes and shimmers. Looking for creamy textures. The other was lipsticks, not balms or treatments though. Stylevana has the great price deals and lots of options. This is my 1st time ordering from them BUT BUT!!! OMG their shipping!!! Ordered 4th January and still waiting for my orders to arrive 😅 All items where supposed to be shipped within 24 hrs when I placed and paid the order. After a few days, 1 product became “shipped within 21 days. 21 days later, it was still not shipped. It was prepared on the 30th Jan, collected from vendor on the 1st Feb and has been in transit since then. Never had this kind of issue with Yesstyle or Style Korea even during the peak of the pandemic. The most I wait for these 2 other vendors is about 14-15 business days even if they would say it may take 3 weeks. I may try ordering once again but if shipping is still the same, I’ll stick with Yesstyle and Style Korea moving forward.

But the items offered are of limited selection and the sale items tend to be reaching expiration dates it seems like. So...

This was really helpful. I've heard so many great things about Stylevanna but I keep seeing these comments underneath their social media ads saying my order has taken three months, etc. However I've always heard you saying that their shipping as fast so now that I know that it kind of depends products by-product, I think that helps. And I had the same thought, if you're someone like you or I and you have a really big stock of skin care, you can afford to wait if it's going to take one or two months. You get what you pay for and you can't beat their deals. It's a shame that people lack the understanding.

I also think it’s really confusing for people to see those comments all over their IG, while in my own experience: companies that scam delete those kind of comments 👀 Real catch-22 for stylevana there. They leave them up, people see it and worry. But yes hopefully sharing all this helps people get a better understanding of how ordering through them really works!

It’s bizarre right!? But yep, definitely legit. My last YesStyle order included a Giverny brow pencil ($8) and they had a promo where you get a free full size eyeliner with any purchase from the brand. $4/each - and get this: THEY’RE GOOD!! the only catch now is that I’m starting to feel like maybelline and L’Oréal are super expensive in comparison 🤣🤣

I was pleasantly surprised with how fast my Stylevanna order came. Don't get me wrong it took several weeks but I was expecting months the way other people were talking. It took longer than my other stuff I ordered from clothing sites and Amazon etc but it really came more quick than I was expecting. I also only ordered about $80 worth of stuff.

Hi Alice. For Olive Young, the good thing about it is sets. And they have good deals as well. They have a $60 minimum for free shipping. For Wishtrend, they have dear klairs, I am from, Soo good and bywishtrend as well. They have a $100 for international and $80 for US. Their shipping is amazing. They also use DHL.

I'm in Canada and usually shop at Stylevana and Jolse, depending on the prices and whether I'll need the items by a certain time. Jolse takes 2-4 weeks but consistently stays in that range, and lately way closer to 2 weeks or even a bit less! Never any customs on the two I stopped buying from yes style since they raised the free ship to Canada to something ridiculous, and have just heard that style Korean does get hit with duties. I stopped ordering from wish trend due to the duties. Olive Young gets hit as well, but they're super fast to process and ship; they're a huge retailer so they can afford to do that, and stock the newest releases. I go on there when they have 1+1 or box deals, or to check out items that are new or trending in Korea. They also stock brands that a bigger in Korea, but focus more on the domestic market and thus not commonly seen on other sites

This was awesome I received my Yesstyle order today and the wait was no big deal I have my routine so these were backups and new things to try such as a new nighttime moisturizer since at end of what I was using The new cosrx combo snail mucin with niacinamide so put the other in Elissas bathroom. Unfortunately, with my very first, yesstyle order, which was only about a month ago, I did not get the best shipping. It wasn’t terrible and still way faster than stylevana, but the shipping estimates were not right at all. Everything that I purchased either said ships within 24 hours or ships within one to two days and my order took two weeks to ship.
