My 13yr old and I just purchased two of them from Southern Boutique Outfitter’s in Americus Ga. We fell in love with the skiff design and most importantly the color options. Flash for me and Noreaster for him. He is 13, this will be our first kayaks. As soon as we got home we scoured KZbin for videos. Yours was the first one we found. We are both happy to discover you are not only close to us but also produce them in America. We added Newport Vessels NK 180s Trolling motors for both.

Wonderful walkthrough James!!! The hours and hours and hours of time that went into design is evident!! A super versatile platform that has 1,000 uses!! That primary stability is like nothing else in the Crescent family of kayaks, it was amazing to paddle this thing, so stable, tracked very well, glide was very nice as well. The ease to stand on this K-Craft is absolutely insane, even getting up and down from standing on the cooler the K-Craft was still super stable and didn't lose any of the tracking at all. Super quiet in the water too, a stealthy craft that is ready for whatever anyone can throw at it!! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a stable, versatile platform. I extremely recommend any anglers to check this out, especially fly anglers...this thing is amazing and offers so much for angling, getting into some supper skinny water!!! You guys nailed it yet again!!

One of the best designs I've seen. Open flat deck, options for seat or cooler. Finally someone without all the junk bungees and uses real straps. I like to river kayak camp this is almost perfect, just wish it had higher weight capacity. Give me the Sholie weight capacity with this exact deck and seating options. Perfect !

I'm getting my hands on one of these tomorrow and I'm more than excited. I think this will be one of the best boats in the industry. I think Crescent hit a true home run here. I loved the SUP+ and fished off of it but this is so different. Kudos to Crescent for designing and producing this awesome design.

I’ve been rockin an inflatable NRS kayak for a few months and love it…..but if I was in the market for a rotomolded craft, there’s no doubt in my mind that I’d be from Crescent. The thoughtfulness in design is inspiring and your commitment to American made products is admirable. And to offer it at fraction of the price of what I was expecting it to be; makes me seriously consider making room in the garage for one of these K crafts. I would highly recommend Crescent, I own the Lite Tackle II and just picked up the KCraft, seriously solid built yaks, and if you enjoy paddling they are the best out there.

Moon-Rock color with teak pad deck is one of THE BEST color combos I've seen in the industry. Whether it's the Lite-Tackle 2, or the new K-Craft, it looks absolutely amazing. Will be buying this new K Craft as soon as it hits the stores in Texas!!!

Very interesting craft. I have always thought fishing off of paddleboards or when I was a kid, windsurfing boards was great. This is a great addition to your lineup. As i love to fly fish, this might just be right up my alley of functionality. (Could take the dog for a paddle too). I really like the lean bar setup on yours. Hope to see one in person soon.

You guys did an amazing job with this. Been planning on adding a torqeedo to my crescent for a while so its nice to see you guys including features cross the line of crescent kayaks now. Got a SUP+ from Journey Outdoors in Lexington VA back in 2020 and it's been an awesome fishing vessel for me...this looks like a great evolution! Stock high chair rocking upgrade! Y'all are sneaky! I hadn't heard anything about this K then suddenly it shows up in my recommended vids! By the way, I picked up an LT2 from Westbrook in Nov '22 (shoutout to Fletch!). Love it! You guys make awesome fishing kayaks! I've caught thousands of fish from my Crescents! And yeah...I want one of these too! 😆

James: you, your company and your company philosophy are just awesome. I have had several fishing kayaks and love the new concept of the K Craft. I don't yet have a Crescent but K Craft might be the one for me to try. I don't personally know Aliex Folgueira ( @AliexFolgueira) have watched his kayak video reviews for years and have really enjoyed them. I would love to see you two guys connect and see if Aliex could get the K Craft microskiff on the water and put it through it's paces. I’d like to compare this to the Kaku Zulu . Kaku seems thicker. What are the height dimensions on this? I only heard length and width. I don’t need another cooler but it look so clean with it! 🤤 I’m really glad they made a micro skiff, this company can easily take it over with this price smart move on Crescent vs going Pedal kayak. Easier market to compete with.

Awesome! How does the stability compare to the crew? Seeing that it’s only 33”. Also, was is the weight capacity? Would love to run an xi3 on the bow and Newport on the back

More stable than the Crew as the K-Craft focuses on Primary Stability more than any other Crescent model. The website has all the full secs, but the weight capacity is rated at 350 lbs.

Any chance of getting an adapter to raise the transom higher so the prop could run in skinner water.? Seriously thinking about getting one this spring!

Thanks! For this particular one that would be little too much weight directly off the back but ya never know what else we are working on! We provide the mounting plate, the transom plate used is a Newport. We agree for certain motors taller transom and have thoughts on developing a taller transom. We are going to do an OEM development though that has a shaft at custom length that won’t need such high transom. The one in the video is a shorter shaft like 9” shorter than standard. For 1.5 hp the shafts are telescopic so all that is adjustable. Thanks for considering us!

Pro tip: if your trolling motor has an angle adjust, angle it like a mud motor, and even have 1/4 of the prop out of the water, you will still scoot along just fine! Experiment with different angles and heights🤙🏼

Unique to the industry? Completely different? This is clearly a concept knockoff of the Kaku Zulu. There is nothing on this fishing paddleboard that is actually new to the market. The colors look nice though.

We were making the SUP+ 5 years ago (a paddleboard kayak hybrid). Our multi patents on K•Craft would say otherwise as well. If it’s not for you no worries. As an owner of two kakus and huge promoter of the brand, this is nothing like a Zulu. If anything it would be more similar to a voodoo, but there are many distinct yet subtle features that make them differ drastically. I think you have to have better attention to detail to understand this.
