I prefer this so much more than the 1M choreo. This has more personality imo like Akali's part in general where she swipes her neck in this because the lyrics is "I'm slaying like Buffy", Ahri's part where she shows her 9 tails but here it's their hands in the choreo, the soft ballet moves in Seraphine's part, Kai'Sa's part is just *chef's kiss*, the hand swirling movement in "i got more than enough, add it up and away" like the chorus in general is better. The 1M choreo is too powerful and exaggerated with too many movements for no reason. This one is graceful but with plenty of sharp movements. It's easy to look at. Ugh this is so good. Edit: watching this daily. Finding new things to appreciate like how in Akali's rap "I hate math, but all of my numbers are talking babe" the dancer is counting her fingers.

@@Sam-ol5mx I'm very much aware of that. That's what 1M's choreo is: complex. I like 1M choreographies but this one fell short for me because it was too much and I wasn't feeling the vibe of "K/DA". It just felt like a standard 1M choreo idk what they were going for but I was expecting some sort of personality of the k/da members but maybe they just focused on the lyrics only. Even then I felt it's a bit much. Why go that hard? I'm not a dancer by any means I prefer Kinjaz version. And I'm glad this one ended up as the official because it's so badass but still elegant. This is hands down excellent. Seraphine in this choreo was in the popstars choreo too and she's so talented. They're all talented.

This is K/DA. Not your typical k-pop choreography but it fits the K/DA, definitely. After re-watching it, I got actual goosebumps while focusing on the details of the choreo. There was a comment reply saying this actually was the choreo that they used for the opening, so I went back to it and checked and they were correct! This choreo is amazing, but I think it was more on the execution of the ceremony that didn't lend itself to this. The botched character models (save Eve), poor camera angle choices, and use of space were in my opinion what made the opening ceremony so.... lackluster, to be civil about it. Of course COVID played a huge factor in a lot of it so I'm not gonna add too much gas to the fire. Worlds 2021 will be in China again so hopefully it'll be a step up, and hopefully Kinjaz will have a hand in the dances again!
