C.C. wasn't the only code holder, and lelouche did take her code as he made fulfilled her promise, so i'd assume she eventually passed away, after ressurection. (Just a theory)

@@joshuarichards8025 in the series he didn't take her code at all and died. in the movie, weather you take is as canon or not he had taken the code from Charles or a different code holder during the time after c's world and before he died. Lelouch never fulfilled c.c.'s contract, he never took her code so she can't be dead. she still had her code in the movie as well. you can also see in the series the nun whom c.c. got her code from had the geass mark on her forehead, same as c.c. so whoever lelouch got his code from must have had it on their neck unlike c.c.

@@joshuagoodsell5952 From my understanding, the 4 Movies are the New Canon Basically, if I understand it correctly, the original Code Geass Series, the tie-in spin-off Manga, Comics, and Games, etc would all be the equivalent to Star Wars “Legends” Whereas the 3 Movies + Ressurection, would be the equivalent to Star War “Canon”. It (Ressurection) was supposed to be followed by an entire 10 years worth of straight Code Geass content, but so far its only gonna be Genesic Re;Code, which isn’t even Canon, since it uses OZ, Akito, and other characters that aren’t Canon.
