The algorithm has been hiding Kendrick Lamar’s gems from us.. no way all these old videos of him exist and we only seeing them now… this man is a fucken weapon yo!
@sonnyboyfranco7 ай бұрын
I don’t wanna be that guy, but there was a generation of us who were discovering this side of Kendrick while we waited for GKMC. We were dying for a Black Hippy record, Section 80 was the hottest tape on DatPiff, reading Spin Magazine articles about TDE. The love for this man, to the people who have followed him, has been 12-15 years strong. Happy to see everyone discover these old clips. He’s my goat, no challenge.
@cristobalbalenciaga72957 ай бұрын
It was not that the algorithm was hiding it from you, you just didn’t care about Kendrick before the beef. You decided to jump the hypetrain.
@crazyalcayne7 ай бұрын
Yep the Algorithm plays a major part in what gets seen and what doesn't get seen. And this video is proof. Plus the fact that none of the popular blog sites ever gave it love.
@cristobalbalenciaga72957 ай бұрын
@@crazyalcayne No, the interests of people play a big part in determining what they see or don't see. Right now, y’all are searching for Kendrick clips or songs, which is why more of his content is being recommended to y’all. However, the people who were already looking for Kendrick clips have probably already seen those clips. The algorithm doesn't hide anything; it simply shows you things that you're interested in. When people claim that it's hiding things, they're making it seem like they showed the same level of interest before the Drake beef, but the algorithm didn't display those clips on the timeline at that time.
@dudettevlogs42577 ай бұрын
@@cristobalbalenciaga7295 no I did care about Kendrick Lamar since good kid, maad city… he’s been to Africa a couple of times.. unfortunately I’ve missed his shows. I will admit that after DAMN I didn’t listen to much of Mr. morale.. The beef did put him back on my radar and I’m appreciating other creative sides of Kendrick- what’s wrong with that? If you listened to 6: 16 in LA you will understand Kendrick knows there’s benefits of war.. and this plays greatly on his side

Drake a industry plant KDOT was really out here doing groundwork. We finding random videos of him freestyling for free in a 15yr old video in NY in a car. He was still considered unknown at this time. Drake was getting Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj co-signs as soon as he came in the game. You won’t ever find Drake videos like this trying to make it he been on since he came into the industry. He is the biggest industry plant culture vulture we ever seen KDOT came from nothing. He was going city to city putting in groundwork and Drake is older than Kendrick and talking about he came from the bottom. He grew up in the richest neighborhood in the entire country of Canada in a white Jewish family.
