He is simply incredible. Not just with his singing, but also as a person. He is such a friendly, kind and humble person and never acts like a star. I don't just recommend this to Dimash newcomers. Many people say they want to learn more about Dimash but don't bother to watch the videos from start to finish. There is so much to learn about Dimash not only as a singer and performer, but also as a person. So thank you so much for taking the time to see the whole video. This is one of my first videos where saw Dimash for the first time. I was really overwhelmed. 23 seconds in one breath with riffs and runs. It's incredible. The thing about flowers has something to do with the culture in Russia. The audience listens calmly and attentively to the artist and at the end showers him with flowers and gifts. This also refers to the moderator's comment that Dimash gets so many flowers that it is not enough for the other artists (in this case Nikolai Baskov). It seems that Nikolai Baskov is usually used to getting the most flowers🤭. By the way he didn‘t win The Voice. He became second in The Singer competition in China 2017, because of not being a Chinese. The following year in 2018, they changed the rules and Jessie J. won. These middle easter sound (melisma) he does in one or another song. It’s really awesome. He sang this song on the New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2018. This is an international contest for young performers founded by Igor Krutoy in 2002. Dimash sang here as a guest. This song was in Russian, a language he speaks fluently. The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. Without subtitles, if you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and motivating his army to fight a losing battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤. Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. He's definitely a very classy gentleman. Dimash always says that he has a responsibility to be a good role model to the young people and children who may follow him and look up to him. You will never find him involved in scandal or even using bad language in public. Even when he is sick or injured he keeps it to himself and just gets on with the job in hand. At one of his recent concerts he was performing with a 40° fever, he gave it his all and almost dragged himself offstage but still stopped to greet and encourage a young blind fan on his way back to his dressing room.
