The lady speaking in this video is my my first auntie (am a son to her sister), every part of that story is true and awakening of a big wound that live in us (the family) and i am so glad that she finally got the courage speak out... I was the last person to see my shushu at the ICU and the family person who was briefed by the Doc at KNH that she may not make it alive, am glad the auntie survived to tell the story. Am both surprised and happy to land on this story here, coincidentally i was at KNH this evening and i still felt the pain seeing my shush on her last breathes with a brutally tattered head. The calm person she was and used to live in that home next to the bush sometimes alone fighting elephants all night only to be butchered on a broad daylight (by a man-njogu) together with her daughter! About the court proceedings yes, its true we couldn't afford a good lawyer, about the grandpas involvement with the case its still a mystery, i also faced him off at KNH when i realized the inconsistency and lack of transparency on how he handled the hospital and mortuary processes as the spouse to the late. I personally know the challenges she is going through, if anyone is in a position and willing to help, i will really appreciate.

There's murder in the first degree that carries a life sentence....where there was pre meditation.....then kuna manslaughter where there was no premeditation which carries a lesser sentence....if the prosecution did not prove beyond reasonable doubt that it was murder in the first or second degree....then thats why this killer got a slap on the wrist...also if the family didn't have a good lawyer and the other family did not bring up defilement charges, then the law here favours the killer
