We expected his opinion on the slow progress in the justice delivery system. The system still maintains the British legacy, even though the system at present was created and meant to serve the people of India. The very justice delivery system provoked the great saint Sree Narayana Guru to make a remarks which meant approaching the justice delivery system with grievances is like seeking a decision as to whether to become charcoal or ash. He was referring to the plight of plaintiffs and defendants. Swamiji was speaking from his own experience in courts. The unbearable delays and huge expenses relating conducting cases in courts still reminds us of Swamiji’s remarks.
