Even thought this is from 7 Years ago, this is still well done. The K4 Whistle(If thats what the secondary is) is Absolutely Superb, the Camera Angles Are Just Like What you'd see in a movie, And the Main whistle is just perfect. Her best voice from the 70s and 80s. Very Nice Use of the authentic audio of 765 around the horseshoe too

It seems like yesterday when I made this video. 7 and a half years! So the secondary whistle isn't anything specific. I took an existing deeper whistle I hadn't used yet, and tuned it even deeper. I can't even remember what the original unadjusted whistle was. The main whistle however reflects the way the whistle sounded prior to her 2006 rebuild when they retuned it. Something about the higher shrill!

There's actually an S-4 NKP Berkshires. The numbers were #801-832 Produced from Alco between 1937-1943 from W&LE K-1 Berkshires #6401-6432. *For those of you who don't know, W&LE was short for the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway.*

stevelerro Theirs* While it is amazing, it's amazing in all the wrong ways. The animated bell swing was never on the NKP berks, the whistle with the echo is the wrong whistle, and the amazing cab view is of PM 1225 NOT NKP 765 or 759. I'll take your Ancient textures but historically accurate representation over the shiny new model with tons of useless features any day. Again can't stress this enough, The pack is absolutely amazing, and is worth the money for the Pere Marquette model alone, but its not the historical representation of NKP freight service we were promised.

The echo is VERY heavy on the recording I used for 765s second whistle. I wasn't really able to edit much out of it. So it is very noticeable in the promo.

Just a little but late on the responce, but trs19 has a new river gorge route. It goes from Hinton to Thurmond. It also has a bunch of the branch lines. Too bad they didn't include the switchback railroad that serviced the Nuttalburg coal tipple. Just a mile or so north of Thurmond. Oh well, still a pretty awesome route.

The roundhouse is called: "Shortline Roundhouse" it's kuid:470845:1328 The track is called "TSM Track WWL SK1" it's kuid2:593815:100643:3 Be careful though, the track is Russian, and therefore 5ft guage. You will notice that the wheels don't completely sit on the rail, only half the wheel touched the track. But the track is great. Jointed, uneven ties, and uneven ballast!

It turns out K&L Trainz is releasing the Pere Marquette Berkshire shown at 3:32. The pack will include Pere Marquette 1225 with and without numberboards, and the Polar Express train set. But I don't know if the white stripe along the pilot and running boards will be removable.

How did you know how to toggle the secondary whistle on the locomotive? I want to do that on SP GS-4 from jointed rail, so I can toggle SP 4449's air horn. Can you show or tell me how?

There was never an older version of NKP 765. This is the only version I made. There is no reason to host the CN 3254 I made almost 15 years ago when the newer version is 100x better.
