Michael Reece if you ever did any research on what Catholics truly believed and not from a distorded perception, you'll see claims on Catholicism are very superficial and easily debunked. The born again which you claim is a very new 1850's belief. That's not what the Christ, early church believe. even will passed the Reformation. look it up.

We all need to turn from our transgressions, repent and confess our sins to be saved. Turn around is sort of a vague term and I know I may be asking a lot out of this song. I like the truth of this song in saying that only when we turn to the atoning sacrifice of Christ can we be saved from this fallen world and all of its fleeting pleasures and sufferings.

One of the main reasons we ask then to pray for us is because they're 100% human! So they've felt our pains,wants,etc. So it's NOT an obligation,just a desire! But, it is important to know that if you've given you life to Christ and asked him to forgive you then you are FORGIVEN and are going to heaven. That doesn't mean though you can go off and do whatever you want, God (at least I think) wants us to repent and try not to sin. Just believe in him and have faith that he'll help you get through this hard time. God bless you!

@jean1juan He's in standard. It looks like he's in the key of E He plays a E, C, G , D progression. The intro is a weird octave kinda chord (it's probably a 10th interval) but he plays 7 on the A and then 8 on the B, then 3 on the A and then 5 on the b, and finally a 10 in the a and 12 to 13 on the b string. The teaching of the Catholic Church (see the Catechism of The Catholic Church) teaches that we are saved by God's free gift of Grace, without which no one is saved.

Jesus gave us Church leaders (Peter was the first pope, see Matt 16:18) so that people wouldn't just read scripture in whatever way suits them- There are many interpretations but ONLY one truth.
