is the outside diameter of the filters identical? if so why not just add 2 holes to the thicker filter and use stock backing plate?

Thank you for the install video. I am a bit confused about the breather bolts. I want to use the DK Customs external breather system on my bike. I also and wanting to possibly use this air cleaner to add the extra air. In the video it never showed how the new air cleaner works with the breather system. Or how you addressed it. Any mods you did or anything would be appreciated. And the backing plate doesn’t look like the stock one. The stock one appears to lay the filter system back deeper and more flush with engine. The Fuel Moto version seems like it flush mounts the backing plate. Thus making it stick further out away from engine. I’m ok with that because I want to add external breather and the extra clearance would help with my plans to locate the catch can behind the plate the best that I can.

Great looking intake. But like someone else has mentioned there is no hook up for the breather bolts when you’re done. I noticed on the backing plate there are two ports but nothing hooked to them

The bolts are side drilled and act as the breathers, they feed directly to the 2 ports and thus eliminating the need for the rubber breather hoses.. pause at 2:21 and you can see the side drilled bolts...@@saleenguy25 Thanks for the video - ordering one today.🤘

Yeah its channeled through the backing plate. I don't think I'd run different breather bolts unless you have a plan for an external breather system.
