It looks like Marina won the backstage relay race! I have a simple question about her pun マ（リナ）イペース, Ma(rina)ipesu. I think Maipesu means "my pace", but I've seen people translate a similar sounding phrase as "my path". So I would like to confirm whether she means "move at Marina pace" or "walk Marina path". Thanks!

@@AlexFromSpace Okay, you mean it is the 10th line from the top of Marina's personal letter from 0:06, right? Here, it is written, 'マ(リナ)イペース (ma(rina)i pesu)' as you said, and Marina has also said at 1:24 I guess this is a Marina-style pun on 'my pace', haha. 'My pace (マイペース, mai pesu)' is a Japanese Katakana word, often used by us. And the correct English expression is probably 'my own pace', right? We have many Japanese English Katakana expressions of this, 'my ○○'. For example, 'my car (→my own car)', or 'my bottle (→my own bottle)', etc. I guess it means 'doing things at Marina's own pace'. She would like to convey her thought or atitude to us, like 'everything is not going so hurry, slowly, so-so'. I feel it looks Marina-like, but it is a bit of a confusing pun, haha. I think 'my path' would be mistranslation. We do not have Katakana words like that.

@@minamihideki7123 Thank you! Yes, "at my own pace" is a common English expression. I understood the pun, and autotranslator correctly said "my path", but fan translators have written "my path" in other videos, so I wasn't confident. One example is a FRESH episode where MoriSensei interviewed Sakia Kimura. He asked, "What places do you like and don't like?" The fan translator claims she replied, "I like (the) place where I can reach My Path. The place I dislike (is) where I can't reach My Path." I think it sounds similar to Marina's pronunciation, though maybe the "s" sound isn't as strong. Either they translated it wrong, or Kimura was unusually inserting her own English. I guess she actually said, "I like the places where I can move at my own pace." If you're interested, you can find that video clip by searching "Sakia Kimura Interview FRESH", and the question happens at 1m20s. I decided not to link it directly. The whole interview is fun.
