@ Immigration or no immigration Canada never had a housing market crash. Canada was never overbuilt. In the last few years there was a frenzy in building new dwellings especially in big cities, but the prices still went up. It peaked in 2020-22, then went down but never back to the earlier levels. Immigration has never been good for housing market, either way.

I’m not sure whether your offer is geniune .. LMIA won’t issue for this salary as per my knowledge

God man, $24 per hour for 40 hrs a week is not a good pay. Your take home net pay would probly be around $2200 a month and the deductions include cpp,.ei, insurance. Pensions etc. now put of the 2200 a month you will have to pay rent, food and if you buy a car, pay for car insurance and if you take out a loan for the car, you will have to pay for the monthly emi . You can expect to pay at least $350 a month for the car insurance since you are a new driver in Canada. Another 350 to 500 a month for the car emi depending on the car you buy and you def need a car or commute will be a challenge esp in the winter. Then there is rent and if you are single you might be able to scrape through but still the pay is very less for construction field and to get LMIA. So even if you get the permit, you have bigger challenges ahead. Be careful before you borrow money to come to Canada. Make sure you can send enough money back home to pay for it. Lot of things to consider before you take the leap. Good luck. Cheers!
