I bought it a few months ago despite the lack of reviews on it. I got it because I love the combo of leather and black canvas. It gives it a more classier look. It's just the right size for most of my essentials for on the go. Small but holds a lot. Like you, I dressed mine up with just a couple of pins. It's my top bag atm. If a no.2 version of the hip pack ever comes out I'd grab that too. Thanks for showing us your lovely bag.

I agree all the colors look so vibrant and fun!!! 🌸 I must say though this black one with the leather trim has a more day to day friendlier material. Yes the fabric collects lint, which a lint roller can take care of but at least it doesn’t get scuffed like the original Kanken material. At first I thought 22 min?, how can it be so long? But it was sooo nice to see all the different bags in the store! We have these bags in most outdoor shops here in Sweden, but usually just a few colours and not all models (maybe because we are fewer? 10.5 million Swedes compared to Chicago alone at 8.9 mil.) Very good to see the comparison, I have a hard time choose model, and colour! 🤔 Re: the zippers, at my kånken backpacks I usually close them at the top. For me it's easier to open then. Now the question: have you had any problem withe the black leather giving away colour to the clothes you wear under the bag? Like when it rains or so. Thanks for the thorough review! 👏🌻🇸🇪

I had to come back to this video to say thank you. I've been looking for a shoulder bag for a while. I'm to the point where I realize if you want quality you have to spend money. I saw your review and ordered one in Clay. I just opened it and upon feeling it I can tell this bag is no joke! I love yours with the leather straps and logo but haven't seen it. This seems like such a nice purse! Been eyeing it quite some time now 😃 So I find this video extra nice to watch! I can remember that you as well made a video about the Herschel Nova Crossbody, some time ago. I once debated between these two (Fjällräven's No. 2 Black Sling and Herschel's Nova Crossbody). I do know that the Sling is more spacious, so that can be a plus already.

Hi! Yes it is such a nice purse to carry. I will say that if I compare it to the Herschel Nova Crossbody, I prefer Herschel’s fabric over this Kanken No. 2 one for one main reason: The Kanken No. 2 black bag collects lint and you absolutely need a lint roller. And you need to use the lint roller daily if you want the bag to look nice. But it is worth it because the Kanken No.2 is such a fun cute carry. Thanks so much for commenting 💕 Take care.

Also nice that you say that the bag is worth it anyway! You're right about Herschel Nova's fabric. I own a Herschel Nova Mini myself and indeed: that fabric does not seem to catch lint. For and also I wanted to know if the all black one had a little pouch inside.
