They were so into the conversation that no one ate a thing. They were busy sharing experiences and love for the music .......... and their fans. Future is bright if we had more young people like these. I love these guys

Yoongi cried during three songs in the very last concert of his tour. The three were at the end of his main setlist (there was a 3-song encore after it) and all three are very emotional and personal songs. He started getting emotional during "Snooze", as he told her here. Then he sang "Dear My Friend" a song about losing his friend to drug abuse, then "Amygdala", which clip was shown towards the end of the video.

That final DDay show was so emotionally charged for so many reason. The last of his 1st solo tour, the eldest 3 members were in the audience (with RM who had also performed), and like Yoongi said in another show, having his seniors there and all the memories of the last 10 years flooded in. What was especially moving was how vulnerable and trusting of Army he was that he really let himself be in those emotions and be in the moment with them. I watched it via livestream, it was soooo moving and like nothing I've ever experienced with another artist. Many in the fandom were still processing it all days and weeks afterwards (and even now). You can hear Army in the livestream, but especially in the fancams...wow...just thinking of it moves me to tears, but Army that was there took over for him when he couldn't sing and also were chanting in Korean, it's okay. The synergy between Yoongi and Army at that point was almost spiritual, it really does deserve that label.

The first thing I saw of her on You Tube after watching My Mister was a behind the scenes video of her 10th Anniversary concert. The concert was offically over including her then normal encore and they were playing a staff appreciation video. IU was backstage and could not believe so many of her fans had stayed and were watching. After the video she said should I go out. And she did and she sang for an additional 2 hours. I couldn't believe it. Who does this. The rock concerts I have attended you were lucky to get an encore of 3 songs. It blew me away. Just in case you don't know, Rolling Stone Magazine in Jan. of 23 released an update to their 200 Greatest singers of All Time. IU became the 1st Korean to make the list. You are on point about many of IU's qualities and talents. But it sounds to me like you are slightly still reserved about her overall singing talent. While she is known more for her ability to hit the high notes there is so much more to her singing, control, placement and how she mixes her tonal qualities that many listeners simply take for granted. Everybody who hears her are impressed by her voice but most don't know why or what exactly it is about her voice that they like. This because she is so effortless in how she moves between the tonal placement and the quality of sound she gets from her voice. And her voice can be powerful and she can belt when the song calls for it. But she uses that ability like she does the others in creating the sound she wants. There are a couple of her songs that in different Settings she belts a line while in other settings she doesn't. Her Love Poem concert has many songs available on You Tube released by her channel. It the concert that everyone wished they could have attended. There are 2 songs released of her Golden Hour concert. The opening song Eight and the final song of the offical concert My Sea.

Just a slight correction IU and Jungkook were the first korean artists to make Rolling Stones list. I loved everything else you wrote and even learned a few things🫂

32:23 I never thought about it being different or distinct when we sing along in concert. I think it may be because the meaning behind the lyrics is a big part of why we are army and we are in love with their music. The sincerity in their writing and the sincerity when they perform is what makes their concerts special, imo.

for people pt 2 there was really no big significance to it. its mostly because 1. iu wasn't there and yoongi also wasn't singing so armys just sang it properly. 2. its all in English so armys could sing it word for word and since the tour started in the us armys there kinda set the tone for the rest of the tour.

I agree, there are groups less known than BTS that have more exposure on Korean tv and variety programs 😔 But I guess if they had that they wouldn’t have tried all the other innovative ways they did to get attention and support. If they didn’t do their own shows they might not have gotten such wide international support and then who knows what would have happened?
@aisyahomar25166 ай бұрын
ikr. And now a lot of K-pop-idols have their own variety shows on KZbin after BTS popularized it, yet some fans of other groups still deny BTS paved the way and led the trend. I don't understand.

32:28 ARMY, specially Korean ARMY is very good at singing. There are songs where they yell and songs where they sing. They sing 'Snooze' pretty well too. When SUGA cried that last day, they were crying as well and you could hear it when they were saying the repeating '다 괜찮아질 거야' part of the song to comfort him. But they still sang Woosung's part quite well. It was a very special moment. If you're interested, this fancam of his 'Life Goes On' performance isn't great for listening to his voice, but it's great for listening to the fans : [ SUGA ] 230806 4K 'Life Goes On' SUGA | Agust D TOUR 'D-DAY' THE FINAL @KSPO DOME 체조경기장 by 장방울[ ZZOZZI FANCAM ]. They sang the whole song. But specifically for 'People Pt.2', he said on Palette that he wrote that part in English for the international ARMYs to be able to sing at his concerts. So in a way, they were singing their part of the song. 55:21 It's entertaining when your cat comes in. But if you need it, there is software you can use to lock your keyboard temporarily. They were mostly made because of cats lol. I used 'Whiskas Cats Lock' when I had a cat but it's not available any more. There are other ones but I haven't personally used them. On Windows, it's Keyfreeze or Anti-Shaya. They're both a bit different to use so it depends on one's preference. For Mac these is a software called 'MollyGuard'. These are all free. There is also a paid software (I think around $20) called 'PawSense' that supposedly detects abnormal keyboard input automatically but I have no idea if it's any good.

As for food, they usually ask the guest if they have a preference. Sometimes they are preparing for a role or concert and/or may have a dietary concern. If the snack is plain, that's probably what IU'S team requested. I doubt that HYBE/BH is trying to cut corners 😂

Or maybe they just wanted to help you. lol Seriously, they seem very sweet - though I get that sometimes they can be aggravating (especially when they repeatedly hit the same buttons - almost like it's deliberate). I also want to thank you for your reactions. Not only are they enjoyable, but I've learned a lot from them. I hope 2024 is a good year for you, full of happiness and contentment. If you haven’t seen, I suggest you watch IU’s show when she interviewed Suga, as well as the one she did with Hobi. Those were two of the best episodes, imo. Also, I love your cats.
