jonghyun had seasonal depression but the company didn't take him seriously, but even then he will still always be remembered and an amazing artist, nothing can change that❤️ check out "excuse me miss" live and some of jjongs solo work, maybe his cover to "y si fuera ella" which is also a live performance. shinee is one of those groups that are even better live! shinee as a whole really were a big part of changing kpop for the better

@@aliiirxsa4235 seasonal means that he would only show it every now and then, like he would only express it every couple of months, "regular" depression is when someone often shows signs of having depression but Jonghyun didnt show it all the time to make it noticeable sadly...fans tended to always worry about him tho so if ur a true fan of SHINee and watch the old videos im sure u can see the signs better then a non fan

Taemin was considered the "Nation's Maknae" because he was so young, like you said, 14, when SHINee debuted. In fact he had JUST turned fourteen around the time of their debut song (yes, this was their debut; best debut in kpop history. They already had some of the strongest vocals and dancing in the industry with their very first song). Jonghyun's passing is also a bit of a sensitive subject within Shawol, SHINee's fandom name, especially around December, but we like to make it clear that he is not just his death. Jonghyun was and still is one of the best main vocals in kpop history. I have yet to hear a ain vocal who measures up to Jonghyun's tone, uniqueness, and overall vocal talent, that's how amazing he is. SHINee are also known as the OG trend setters of kpop. Without SHINee, dance practice videos wouldn't have become the norm. Taemin also started a trend of male idols having long hair and SHINee as a whole eradicated a lot of gender norms with their styling, clothing, and makeup. They also often set fashion trends not only in kpop but in S. Korea as a whole!
