Love your reaction and insight! Historic Collaboration: This one is right up there with Michael Jackson and Sir Paul McCartney! I loved the reciprocal admiration of each other. Chris for BTS's unique talent; BTS members fanboying over an idol of theirs. You can see in our BTS men how they still do not see themselves as "the biggest band on the planet". They're in awe that a "celebrity" of Chris's magnitude would want to work with them. I also loved seeing Chris sitting on the studio floor as if he had just become 20 again! The other thing too about his "directing" or encouraging BTS members as they sang, well he is a dad of teenagers so maybe that experience helped as well - how to connect with 20's something BTS members. I first saw Coldplay at their debut concert in Toronto, February 2001, in a rave/edm hall with 2000 people. To me, seeing this collaboration speaks to me of how the universe conspired to make this happen. We're students and teachers every single second of our lives and there was a need and a purpose to give life to My Universe. For me, it's not a coincidence that Chris had a melody and name stuck in his head. He was asked to connect with his kindred spirit (BTS) and bring this song to life. I'm happy Chris heard the call and BTS answered it. When kindred spirits finally hear their whale song being answered, they're no longer the loneliest whale. :)

You guys should watch the Coldplay/BTS Documentary. It shows the progress of the song. Jin used his lower register, and Jimin did a lot of the higher sub-vocals. The bit at the end is actually meant for a dance break for BTS, Chris explained. The song is quite uplifting though, isn’t it? Kind of gave me ‘Magic Shop’ vibes. I really reacted the same way you guys did. Great video! 💕

I love just how beautiful the lyrics are and they make me both smile and cry at the same time. I also love just how much respect Chris Martin has for the lads and the respect he show is just so beautiful. Also this is a dream collab for me as I'm a massive Coldplay fan as well as an Army since 2014. Both these groups mean so much to me as they both have helped me thru dark, difficult and tough times I'm my life and I'm just glad I have them both I my life as they make my life complete and happy and without them I wouldn't be here today. Also eventho Jimin and Jin don't have many lines you can clearly hear them in the background vocals and tbh their lines are my fav from the song.
