well, on cypher pt. 3, suga also has a line that says that his rap can send either boys or girls to hong kong (which is a slang for orgasm) it can mean that no mather the gender, people will fuck with his music, but also can be a reference to bisexual preference, which for *civilized* and *respectful adults* means no problem, RIGHT??? if y'all won't keep your minds open to different interpretations of things or even different realities/preferences/tastes, bts is not a road to go for, bc most of their music is made to make people think outside the box and to embrace all kinds of people. on a side note: the boys never made their sexual preferences public/clear, because that's none of our business and has absolutely no impact on how great artists they are, so let's not assume anything.

12:52 so a fact for you to know, actually Jhope didnt know anything about how to rap when he joined BTS, he was the DANCER that the company needed, back in 2012 he learned all about rap thanks to RM and SUGA, they teach him and he developed his own style, because he is a dancer many people say he always flows with the beat in his raps, he eat the melody like a dance a move and he is very energetic, always with the hype rap.

There's nothing special about that, most rappers start at J-Hope's age. Suga and RM must have been in the underground when they were kids, just like J-Hope in the dance underground. J-hope has been good at rapping ever since BTS debuted, and has developed a unique style over time. I think the only difference is that J-Hope wasn't as involved in resisting the haters as RM and Suga, I don't think it bothered him as much, he's just the sunshine type.

From my understanding, each of the members were understandably dealing with their own personal struggles apart from as a group. Sunshine type trope. At one point, Jhope quit or was about to, but decided to stay because he trusted his members and because RM fought for him. Yes, RM and Suga were more directly affected by the haters due to their shared experience, but as a group, they were all bothered by it, Jhope included.

RM as good as his English is , it's still his second language that he learned on his own , he never lived in US or any other English speaking countries , so the fact that he's even rapping in a foreign language is impressive in itself. Plus , the boys' rap im Korean is actually very intricate and has AMAZING word play, relies heavily on metaphors from korean literature and culture , if you're interested in understanding a bit more I recommend the video " DDAENG explained by a korean " Lastly , it would be appreciated if you keep an open mind that language cannot translated word for word , being an Army means you're gonna gain a deep understanding of korean culture and language if you actually take some time to try and understand the lyrics better , instead of just calling it " sus " because that just makes you look like ignorant Americans...

Suga is the fastest rapper in Korea I swear. You need to listen to his 3 AGUST-D (his alter ego) albums if you want to be blown away. Joke by RM is awesome too. J-Hope was taught to rap by RM and Suga so you'll hear their influence. J-Hope actually headlined Lalapallosa a couple years ago and his album Hope in the box, and his single Hope on the Street (with J-Cole) is good too. I feel like they think the language switch ups between English and Korean is why it is what’s making the song “sus” to them, but I feel like that’s just not really a good observation… Also Namjoon didn’t say “Ima ride you like a biker” 31:32 He was references how most artists rap the same beat and rhythm only saying 2 or 3 lines at a time like a hospital patient. That’s when he went further to begin with the “Welcome to the Plaza” part, hence when he says “he’s going to ride it like a biker”- the beat. To ignore the whole song on that one line is mad weird tbh… Out of all the channels I’ve come across this is the first someone has made that line much more than what it is just to disregard the whole song. Cypher 2 and 4 are my faves. They span from the beginning of their career until 2017. For Cypher 3, that is a really bad interpretation. Just know that they take some of the swearing out. It not sewer, it's shit. Ppippi is the sound that they use for a beeper. So the girls all call me, beep beep. Not pee pee. 😂😂😂 They are NOT saying the "n" word. There is an online vote for the best Korean rapper and despite them being on hiatus for their military service, they are still ranked the top 3. Suga is #1 by far and J-Hope and RM keep swapping place for 2nd and 3rd. Suga is my personal favorite and J-Hope next but they are all amazing and I’m picky about rap, having been around when Run DMC, NWA and Public Enemy started out and rap had a more serious social message. They actually went to L.A. in the very early days to learn from old school rappers. It’s documented in American Hustle Life. Suga is from Daegu so AgustD is Suga backwards and DT for Daegu town. And you’re going to discover that every time you say it can’t get better, they will prove you wrong. Cypher Pt3 is my favorite because as a punk rocker I tend to like the harder hitting songs. Good on you for engaging the Cyphers. It was enjoyable. I will say, however, it was kind of odd during Cypher 3 to dismiss an entire 3 rapper track when you didn't like a bar the first rapper used. It seemed the other two rappers were suddenly destined to not get a critical listen after that. I think if you watch the Busan performance or earlier 2015 performance of Cypher 3 for entertainment value, not concentrating on bars but listening and watching the performance and fan engagement, you might be able to put that single bar poison pill aside.

I would also highly recommend Hip Hop Lover as well. They truly show you what students of their craft they are. They give flowers to many major Hip Hop influences that ai grew up listening to and I'm 45, so that should give you an idea 😂. Also they did do a program reality show called hustle life where they had many old school Hip hop mentors. One of which was Warren G in which he had them all write their own verses for Regulator.

BTW I’m sure someone already explained he is not using the “N” word. They are actually saying “Neaga” in Korea. “How do you use Naega in a sentence? You use naega, when you are referring to yourself in the sentence, kind of like 'I am'. Nae means 'l', it's used only with the topic marker ga.
