Idol is more of a “oh you think we’re like this? Okay. We’ll be like this.” Song They all look the same? They put tens of hundreds of themselves in the mv. They wear wacky fits? Rhey’ll wear weird patterned clothes in the mv. They use cgi a lot? They’ll make it even more sillier, adding bigger versions of themselves, sharks, giraffes, what not. They’re korean & nobody understands them? They’ll dance in a hanbok (traditional korean costumes’ & inside a korean temple. Exact!! Generally BTS use real sets in their MVs, and you can see them behind the scenes of each video, and they use very little CGI. Except in this idol song that is a response to all the haters who criticized them, that's why the exaggeration throughout the video. Note: BTS MVs have as their message the lyrics and also what is seen in the video, everything tells a story and has a reason for being there, nothing is put at random.

I was in one of his concerts in LA and trust me, they have that energy and it's contagious!! it was insane, I left SOFI stadium without voice....singing, screaming, jumping... there is nothing like watching them surround by thousands of ARMY's.... you have no idea how many hours in a plane you're happy to fly just to see them..... they are live legends! I’m a 57 year old ARMY. These 7 young men have brought such joy to my life. If you want to see the true colors of BTS, watch them live. When they are with ARMY, they are in their element. ARMY gives them energy and they give us everything. I also recommend one thing to you. Watch these videos twice. Once for the actual enjoyment and second to read the lyrics. I'm not hating guys, I promise. The computer audio was overpowering your commentary and reactions in this video. It was harder to watch as a result. But I've watched all 3 of your reactions and loved them so far. Thanks for getting to know BTS. If you watch a guide it'll take the mystery out of who each member is, which could be bittersweet. BTS came to Sydney in 2014 with the Red Bullet Tour... when they return to touring after finishing their military service (all members will be out by mid 2025, Jin is already discharged, Hobi is out Oct 17th of this year) they will get organised to tour again... The tickets are like the Hunger Games.... they sell out stadiums in under two hours.... Army would literally serve up their first born for tickets to a concert hahaha.... Good Luck !!

Focus on the lyrics-- As a lyricist myself, I really appreciate and find the meanings behind certain poetic songs that BTS write very creative and meaningful. [Suga and RM write a lot of deep lyrics.] For more artistic songs, I'd recommend "Black Swan" and "Blood Sweat & Tears". Also, you could watch a couple interviews or something to get to know who is who. For a different band, I'd recommend AKMU. It's a brother and sister, and they're extremely creative and thoughtful. "Dinosaur", "Tictoc Tictoc Tictoc", "How People Move" For a throwback, you could check out Shinee. "Replay", "Hello", "Sherlock" And last but never least, Got7. "Nanana", "You Are", "Hard Carry", "Miracle"

If you guys wanna see a live performance by them I’d recommend to watch “BTS Dope x Baepsae x Fire x run live” it’s a 10 minute video where they perform 4 songs one after the other without a break. The energy and vocal performance is top notch and I think it rlly showcases their stage presence, the performance is rlly loved by Army!!

I get "trusfrated" whenever reactors ignorantly laugh at J-Hope miserably writhing in those Snickers. ON is also largely MOTS. Few are knowledgeable about the talent and technical skills of the vocalists and rappers or the quality of the music and video production. Most of them are currently serving mandatory military service in South Korea so touring as a full group isn't possible yet but they are all back in 2025!

They never fully sing in English and they always write their own lyrics, but their english trilogy (Dynamite, Butter, Permission to dance) was a decision they made while they were working on their album BE. At that time, the pandemic just took over the world, their world tour was canceled and everyone was on lock down at home, so they wanted do reach every army and cheer them up with uplifting, upbeat, fresh and positive songs. They gave everyone happiness, hope, energy to endure those difficult times, and that brought together Army and BTS even more. And since they reached and helped also people who didn’t know them, they brought even more Army into the fandom (I am one 😊). One last curiosity: Permission to dance was written by Ed Sheeran

A little feedback as you listen… y’all kind of talk a lot while the videos are playing, and I’m guessing you’re missing out on the uniquenesses each member brings vocally. It’s hard not to get excited while you’re listening (ARMY gets it!), but that may be a next level for your reactions! Also, in case it’s helpful to you to consider, you might want to look up the years the songs were released… BTS had a tour fully prepared right when the pandemic started… so some of the MV’s and songs released during that time were influenced by how the world was feeling, how BTS wanted to bring light & life to ARMY & the world, and how they were coping during those years. There’s so much to BTS, in every beautiful complex sense 💜 Thanks for giving the guys mad love!

You guys are in for a ride. I only got into BTS a little over a year ago and they completely blew me away. They're the most talented/versatile group I've ever seen. They literally do it all and cover all genres both as a group and as soloists. Their lyrics and messages are also super powerful. They've based albums off of psychological books and they discuss important issues like societal expectations from youth, mental health, and self love. As a hip-hophead myself the rap line are also some of the most skilled rappers I've ever seen. Two of their rappers started out as underground so they're legit rappers. Not to mention how they're very real, authentic, charming and just natural comedians. They've transcended the k-pop label a very long time ago because they've always had their own sounds and concepts since day 1. They're the most awarded/credited/ streamed group in history and their achievements are only comparable to the Beatles. The more you react to BTS the more you're going to love everything about them and the more they'll surprise you so enjoy the journey!
