43:18 This is so important! Not many people survive fame like they have. Normally celebs either let it go to their head and they become arrogant or they go a bit crazy (weird) or they break mentally and get depressed or get drunk on power and become more or less evil. And The ones who let it go to their head and act like they have more worth than other humans lose the connection with their fans and with the world too. So BTS keeping themselves humble and grounded and human is both saving them as people as well as their careers, their ability to take in the world and connect and to write lyrics with substance and through that spread good in the world. And I also think BTS are able to enjoy life more since they don't try to upkeep an "perfect idol image" and instead just can act more like normal people, show emotions, strengths and weaknesses, be goofy and dorky, swear, drink, smoke, talk about whatever subject they want, make whatever music they want etc. etc. Of course they have more eyes on them and that affects what you can do and your freedom to a degree but the more normal they show themselves the more normal and connected and healthy their lives can be. So many people are inspired by BTS to take care of their mental health and love themselves, to be themselves, to do good, to treat others with kindness, to connect with people of different ages, cultures and from different countries etc. and to work together for a better and kinder and more accepting world.

well said....this is why they're so loved....like artist like fandom too! I'm aware also that there are sadly many infiltrators in the fandom who act so nasty just to attract hate towards Army and the artist....I just report and block those.

Helpful hint for the guide: Not sure if you know.... Korean people counted age differently to others... Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. The members were only 13-18 years old when they joined BTS and 15-20 yo when they debuted. In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on lunar newyear every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 Jin 1992 - 20 yo Suga 1993- 20 yo Suga started with MIDI at 11 JHope 1994 - 19 yo RM 1994 - 18 yo RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13 and signed with BigHit at 16. Jimin 1995 - 17 yo V 1995 - 17 yo JK 1997 - 15 yo he signed with big hit at 13 Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. The Korean Government has recently (June28 last year) brought in international age as the standard in Korea, but all older videos/ interviews/ shows, will be referencing Korean age. 💜Have a great day (53yo ARMY from Australia 🇦🇺)

@anitaherbert1037 it helps us for frame of reference... a boy at 18 finishing high school is different from a man at 20 in the west... but the same there, in SK they would see someone '20' as being a boy finishing high school, yet '22' is a man... their coming of age I believe is 20 (our 18) It's all relative... It helps us here in the west out tho to know about the age issue... to fully appreciate what they did because it is even more impressive when you realise just how young they really were... 💜

Just a little FYI; In Korea you put the family name first when you write and say your name. You put the given name second (the name that would be the first name in the west). So in the west Kim Namjoon (RM) would be written "Namjoon Kim". Namjoon being his first name and Kim his surname. Kim is also Korea's most common family name and even though they aren't related 3 members in BTS (Jin, RM & V) has the family name Kim. Kim Seokjin, Jin Kim Namjoon, RM Kim Taehyung, V

@dl7596 as of the 28th April 2024 they are the most awarded artists of all time with over 1400 physical awards. cr. chartdata_twt (I believe this includes all local and international awards... group awards, solo awards, album production awards (choreo/album art) and chart awards) They have an entire huge about 8mx10m (26x32ft) display wall of their most prestigious awards at the Hybe museum.

Love that you’re watching videos to get to know their peronalities better:) If you want to continue, I’d recommend these interviews: How well does BTS know eachother by Vanity fair and BTS anwers web’s most searched questions. For compilations, some good channels are SugArmyy and Kookiestaetas. You can react to videos focused on the whole group (funniest run bts moments, that had bts wheezing forever, bts moments that seem unreal but aren’t,…) and also on individual members (Jin being so done with bts, Jungkook pulling the maknae card etc.)

BTS are one to 2 years younger than mentioned in this as its old korean age calculation. So Jungkook was only turning 14 when he joined. That's how they were present gor his entrance and graduation ceremonies. He was 16 for the debut after training 2 years, learning to dance sing and rap. That makes sense of their School trilogy abums

If you've had a hard day, come home and watch their show. They will entertain you and make you laugh! Watch "Fly BTS". One of their later shows. It's in my top 5 favorites. It has 2 parts. But you can watch it all easily. A good way to get introduced to the show. The first shows were low budget and short. But, they got better year after year.

They are all such an amazing human beings even tho they are the biggest group in the world they are still so humble. And a lot of people might not know but the live that seokjinah does eat Jin is because there are many ARMY's out there facing depression and were like eating less and having eating disorder or feeling lonely he use to go live and eat with those people . And the funny song that Jin created just for fun and his love for tuna it actually blocked Taylor Swift's song on itune and kids love this song 😅 About jungkook he joined an almost bankrupt company because of RM because he thought RM has nice thighs 😂not really actually he thought RM is a cool person after listening to one of his song . And the Wembley stadium one it was so emotional because the stadium is in London not only it sold out in 90 minutes but also ARMY who don't speak Korean sang an full Korean song for the boys 😭 I love my family man .
