These were super dope concept Music video's, I hope the rest Bts's stuff is this good. These M/V's were a 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

For me, 'I Need You' is not about a break up but their own struggles of surviving within the industry and a complicated relationship with their dreams. But that's just how I personally interpret it. The MVs for 'I Need You' and 'Run' are part of the Bangtan Universe, a fictional storyline about 7 guys and their hopes and troubles. It's based on what they express in their songs, almost like a movie based on an original soundtrack instead of it being the other way round. The beautiful song you heard during the credits is 'Butterfly'. Its lyrics are also beautiful. One of my favourites.

My daughter introduced me to BTS right before pandemic. Within 2 months, I had consumed all of their music, most of their videos and content, and was greedy for more. I can’t imagine ever stepping away from them now. 💜🫰

The back story of all of these songs is the Bangtan Universe (BU) - the fictional storyline that runs through a lot of their songs, as well as in short films, a video game (now shut down), webtoons, and more. Many times the MVs aren't actually related to the lyrics in the songs - they are continuing the BU. The MVs for both I Need U and Run are all BU-related.

It is a long complicated tale of youth, friendship, trauma, attraction, connection,disconnection and distrust and time travel Told in MV’s, webtoon , web game, short films, note books Quite intense And “I need you” is the first track, “run” is the second… in BU MV’s you can (should) watch the visuals separately from the music… the images relate to the Storyline not the song a lot.. but they Can also relate to each Other at the same time … fake love MV is a great example Of this. The main theme of The album, is masking And unmasking in relationships and the MV does show that But there are many images that are BU (The water, fire, masked figure at the end and the flower in the glass case) Anywhoooo … welcome to the BU lmao 💜🇨🇦
