One of all the things I love from Dreamcatcher is that their music is always meaningful, you'll notice that in their other songs too. They have more music videos that show their personalities, self made music videos (for fun) for their Bsides songs: 'Sahara' , 'Break the Wall' and 'Poison Love'

Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt and a burning at the stake. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point. Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy. Boca has the lines "Why do you fill your precious time with hate" and "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song? Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". I can only recommend to keep reacting to them, they are always interesting and entertaining! And the song is a banger! When you react to a guide, you will learn about their personalities, which are very different from their on-stage personalities. Prepare to be charmed!

Thank you so much for this info, I appreciate it. I love that they tackled these constant issues in life as it does affect so many people. It was very sad when I learnt about how many artists within the K-POP industry do take their lives and they were all still so young with their whole lives ahead of them. I just wish I could have given them a hug...very sad. These things affect me deeply as people's mental health is a topic very dear to my heart. You will see in the reaction when they made the devil horns sign I reacted slightly as I knew what it was and immediately thought why is it in the video. Then I thought I won't mention it as I thought maybe my understanding is incorrect and I don't want to upset people with the question. Thank you for bringing it up

The line 'too many angels dying now' refers to Kpop artists who have been driven to take their own lives because of cyberbullying. Specifically Sulli (Choi Jinri) and Goo Hara who died shortly before Boca was written. Every year there are more angels lost to hate.

Glad you got to see both sides of Dreamcatcher in this reaction minimarathon: serious and fun. Odd Eye is my favorite song of the trilogy, it was also my first comeback with them as I discovered them between Boca and Odd Eye. Boca means mouth in Spanish and it's essentially Dreamcatcher telling haters to shut their bocas (the hand part of choreography). Glad you're enjoying Dreamcatcher journey! If you want you can react to another (after Deja Vu) standalone song "Because". Which was chronologically after Odd Eye. Perhaps you may want to do Apocalypse trilogy of Maison-Vision-Bon Voyage. Another option is of course going back to beginning and starting from debut and doing the longer "Nightmare" series. P.S. Amazing shirt with amazing message🫶

It can be a little tricky to know whats about but my Take for you to understand It is that theres a witch that has the form of a Spider, one member JiU finds the Spider but Yoohyeon burns the Spider so the Witch gets angry and throws a spells to all members turning them into nightmares. The rest IS them, mostly JiU, trying to get Yoohyeon back from the dream 👌😱

The Dystopia trilogy starts with hate on the internet, but with Odd Eye it ends in a very different place with a wholesale condemnation of internet culture. "Everything is a plausible lie covered by sweetness". The President of South Korea declared martial law on December 3rd to 'protect the country' from the opposition party and others he didn't like. The next day the National Assembly met and voted to impeach him. They had to break into the legislative building to do it and save their democracy. Always examine everything that comes over the internet, especially what comes from governments and politicians, because too much of it is plausible lies covered by sweetness.

But i love Dami, she ist in Mv´s and on Stage the rapper with cool and a little bit cold energy, but behind the scenes she is a lovely, adorable little Panda. She ist for me on of the funniest behind the scenes. Sometimes she remindes me of Changbin, who is also the dark Rapper in SKZ and behind like giant baby. I love this kind of personality. So not much to say today, but Dreamcatcher is wonderful. And this are my favorite Trilogy, because of the message. So an also here, i dont need to explain, because someone did already. I'm also a hugger and people at work know my arms are always open if one is needed.
