Somi ranked 1st in Produce 101 girl group survival show in 2016, and was temporarily in a group named ioi, which disbanded in 2017. She was in jyp ent. back then, and switched to theblacklabel (sub-label of yg ent., with producer teddy as the label ceo) in 2018.
