Nick, no worries about pronouncing Finnish words. Even if you'd use a lantern and a magnifying glass you wouldn't succeed to find a Finn who expects a non-Finn to pronounce anything in Finnish perfectly. With warm greetings from Finland!🎉

The boxing ring in this show is built with europallets. Pallet translates to "lava" in Finnish which then also means a stage. (Also the English word lava is "laava" in Finnish just to avoid confusion.) So it's an Euro(vision) stage he's performing in. At first he sings about hard work week and the urge to dance. He sings about a stereotypical Finnish guy who is afraid to let loose and look silly. So he downs a couple of Pina Coladas to gain courage and then opens up like the boxing ring in the show. Then he let's all his goofy moves to be shown without worrying about other people's opinions. The timing of the silly dance moves and the subtle hand movements in the rapping parts (locking his other hand while singing about the restricting feelings, pouring champagne all over his face etc) are all perfect. Also I've heard that the dancers are supposed to represent the inner dancing demons that wait to be let loose. So it's a whole package!

eurovision is actually celebration of mediocre music...gays, what ever ppl want to call them. Good for you guys. I have to correct myself that it's celebration of bad music and glitter. post note, don't care if you are gay or hetero or x-, or xxy. I'm for the music. Somehow i usually watch it and feel really bad for humankind..most of the time. Finland is usually positive, different. This year we have something different (though it's bit rip off electric callboy -we got the moves) i think that was it...ah i been in your islands 3 times.
