Situated at a height of about 1000 feet from sea level in the midst of lush green Kodyamale hills, Karinjeshwara is a popular pilgrimage centre and an upcoming tourist spot of Dakshina Kannada Disrict. The temple is about 15 Kms from BC Road and about 40 Kms from Mangalore city and is on Bantwal - Dharmasthala State Highway.
