What would happen if a plaintiff is absent on the day when the case is called on for hearing? What order should the court give if a defendant is absent on the day of hearing, provided that summon is served to him properly? What order should a court give:- If a defendant is absent on the day when she is required to produce her statement of defence, provided that she is served with summon properly? If, on the same day as above, the defendant appears with her statement of defence but the plaintiff is absent?
