Zildjian offers a wide range of thin crashes with different hammering and different lathing to create different tonal characteristics. Let's really jump into 3 thin crashes from the various K lines, looking at how they are constructed and listening to a ton of sound samples. In this video you'll hear a comparison of: * 16 inch K Sweet Crash Cymbal: amzn.to/4gc02iK * 16 inch K Constantinople Crash Cymbal: amzn.to/41aNDHG * 16 inch K Custom Special Dry Crash Cymbal: amzn.to/48bvxVD *If you purchase through the above links, I'll make a tiny commission. That'll make me super happy, as I could buy more drums!*

Thank you for doing 16” crashes review. This size seems unpopular these days but I still love an explosive attack and fast decay smaller crash cymbal provides.

You're welcome! And I agree, I have like 4 crashes in my lineup. But my 16" is my "primary" crash.

Well done. I just purchased three K Sweet crashes. A 16” , a 17” and a 19” and am happy with them. The 16” replaced my small Zildjian splash , but I may bring it back and stack it as you did. I also bought a 20” K Constantinople medium thin “ low” ride which is crash-able as well. I grew tired of my early ‘60’s A Zildjian crashes. An A Zildjian 16” an a slightly heavirer 18”. Keep the great videos coming. 🎉
