Tnx, Great analysis as usual. But i guess, it seems too early to boldly conclude that the increase in export revenue is significantly due to the reform introduced. Of course the reform plays some role but we shouldn't forget that our merchandise export bases on few high value agricultural commodities such as coffee for which their export volume is decided by several factors such as peace and security (for instance, Wollega zones known coffee production for export are currently unstable ), level of productivity (for example we can't raise coffee production level overnight because of the currency incentive), level of support provided by authorities to facilitate ease of doing business and productivity, etc. In time and with more data, the true impact will become clear after a while...

@@Amuke23 But It is evident that Coffee Exports increased while the Largest producer of the coffee in terms of volume Wollega is still in turmoil. Which proves the increase is more of a reform induced than productivity. But As you said sustaining growth in Exports requires expanding and diversifying export income sources while working on peace and security everywhere

Geme, i do admire your analysis, please keep it up. If you have detailed information on FOREX reserve please let us know. For sure there is clear increment on FOREX Earning from Mining and exporters are bringing full export earnings plus remittanc also increased. But is it actually increased by 80%? Plus black market is increasing following Franco-Valutta, so what is your opinion on this? Also if you can give us actual inflation compared to pre-flotation.
