One of the biggest questions I have always had is - "Why is it that the carvings do not look like Humans like us?" Are there hidden concepts behind these looks? The nose, lips, eyes, are very abstract. Wondering if there is a relevant / supportive reason for this? I would really appreciate anyones contributions aside the fact that basically explains away that they are just abstract.
