K1 Gsxr 600 how to adjust your idle

I have a 2001 gsxr 600 when i start it it idles at 1 k unless i move the lever on the handle havent paid attention to see if it raises on its own after its warmed up or not dont have it tagged yet

Is your bike a carburettor based engine or and EFI? Mine is a 250 way smaller from yours but I want an advice from you on how to make a 250cc run smoother and a brutal acceleration. My bike has a poor idle too and it’s only 550 KM’s ridden. It’s a new motorbike

This bike is efi but I now have a 01 zx9r which is carborated and also owned a 2010 ninja 250. Theres a few tricks you can do with rejeting the carbs and smoothes out idle. As for acceleration that has to do with gearing. Just remember if you give to acceleration then you lose Top end.

Will doing this help my bike go faster with more torque? Because it feels like I have two fat women on the back and cant get past 50 MPH!!!

Cant you set it with the one on the left of the handle bars that looks like a choke

A lot of people call it a choke but its a fast idle. Kind of the same concept

@@DRKKNTRACING will it hurt the bike if you leave it on at like 1500 rpm or should i always turn it off after bike warms up

No its fine. Stunt riders leave it on fast idle all the time
