K181 HMCS Sackville Tour - Halifax, Nova Scotia

Dear Glen and Rhonda, I am painting at the Legions 36 branch on 5 windows: Air Force, Army, Merchant Marines and Navy. I was told this is a Merchant Marines ship. I will be drawing this ship onto a window. I would like to know if I am drawing a merchant ship before this goes permanent onto a Legions window

HMCS Sackville is a Flower-class corvette that served in the Royal Canadian Navy

Nice video, I plan to visit her one day. However, you do have her title wrong in the video headings and you say it wrong several times. It is NOT HMS Sackville . . . it is HMCS Sackville, as in His/her Majesty's Canadian Ship.

OH NO I just watched the video and I see my mistake. It's my British Navy lingo slipping out by habit. I did get the video thumbnail correct though. Thanks for pointing it out and hope you get to see her some day, she's a pretty special ship.

@@GlenAndRhonda I've been to many museum ships in North America, the 1 time I tried to see Sackville, she was closed due to refit. I do have to go back to see the last WW2 corvette. Cheers.
